Never buy a appliance from Gome Depot. The delivery/install company they use is absolutely horrible. And when something goes wrong, there is no one to call. Their first attempt to deliver my dishwasher was with a damaged unit and they still tried to install it. They finally took the unit away and said someone would contact me regarding a replacement. Never heard anything. After a week I called and was told one would be ordered and I would be contacted to reschedule the delivery. I was never contacted. Then on a Saturday several weeks later I received a call they were at my house for the delivery. I was out of town. We rescheduled for the next Saturday. They called me that Saturday to tell me they forgot to put it on the truck. Someone would get back to me. Still no dishwasher. And Home Depot could care less and can't do anything because it is now in the hands of their third party.

I dropped in to buy a length of chain on my lunch break. I asked for assistance to measure and cut it. The employee I asked wasn't occupied but yet passed it off to another employee. That employee said she would call for assistance. Apparently she didn't want to do it either. I waited 10 minutes with no assistance. Mind you at least three employees brushed past me while I waited. The same woman who called for assistance noticed me a said she would call again. She wouldn't assist me herself but least she made the call. Another 10 or more minutes goes by. Finally I decided to measure and cut the chain myself. I had an employee walk by me twice while I'm measuring 25 ft of chain with a 15 foot tape measure. Not easy when Spread out on the floor of the store. No offers for assistance. As I was just about to cut this chain, another employee appears, yelling at me not to use the cutter. By now, I was a half hour into my lunch break and I'm being chastised like tried to steel something. I've said enough. Menards is 2 blocks away.

HomeDepot contracts a company called Forward Final Mile to do its deliveries of appliances. The incompetence and laziness of the business Forward Final Mile is the stuff of legend. I ordered over $3000 worth of appliances. After three weeks, the delivery company Forward Final Mile screwed up so thoroughly on multiple occasions and in multiple ways, that I have cancelled my orders and have started over somewhere else--even though it might take longer to receive my orders. Forward Final Mile should serve as a case study on how businesses go out of business. One theme of a successful business is answering the question "What can be done to do this work well." The theme I encountered dealing with the company Forward Final Mine was "What can we do to get out of doing our job?" In other words, they are lazy. Home Depot deserves to take a hit for contracting this company. This has been absolutely the worst experience I have had with any business.

Friendly staff will always help you find what you need. Amazing online deals!!! A man named James was a great help in helping me find carbon monoxide detectors. James is very friendly and just a joy to talk to and be around! If they don't have it in the store they will have it online.

Best customer service ever! We have no Home Depot in Chippewa Falls/EC area and you certainly don’t get that kind of service at the place we do have.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I drove an hour or more to buy flooring $2000 worth of flooring might I add. Just so I didn't have to give my money to John Menard the woman in the flooring department couldn't be bothered to give me much more information then "get that one it's got a dog on the cover" and when someone was paged no one could be bothered to take a break from what they were doing to help me. (I waited 10 min) I wasted way too much time waiting and I left congratulations John Menard you're getting my money this time as much as I hate to say that. Thank you to the young man who was not from that department but continue to try to help me with things he had no knowledge about. That young man was the only shred of customer service that store had.

Even with medical exception they will not let you go in without a mask. I understand they have curbside pickup but you can’t look at certain things on the computer. They lost the hundreds of dollars I was prepared to spend on tools that I needed to actually look at to get the right stuff. I also will not be coming back and will be finding other places to buy what I need.

Pretty annoyed at the poor costumer service I received. Bought brand new washers and dryer approximately 2 weeks ago and was told delivery date for the appliances would be delivered today. Apparently the delivery crew rescheduled and changed the date to 2 weeks out from the original planned date. Called costumer service to inquire on the order status and was told that an appliance employee will call back asap. Waited about 1-2 hours before giving up and went in to the store. Spoke to the assistant manager about the poor costumer service and was pretty much told off without much feeling of being truly appolgictic. Will not be buying anymore big appliances from here anymore. Sure enough, got a refund.

This store is absolutely atrocious. We have tried to give them business but are disappointed every time. The latest mess up was our countertop installation. They dropped the ball on having our sink disconnected prior to our countertops arriving. Therefore having our countertops “sent back” for a later date to be installed.

Home Depot Service Quality is going from bad to worse. This is not the Home Depot we know for so many years. Last year we requested a huge bathroom counter replacement and we could not do it because Home Depot did not provide a plummer. Yes, a plummer. 2 years ago we requested an estimate for the kitchen counter, so far 2 years after, no one called. I called to the vice-manager, or the deputy-manager, and never called back. I said, vice, because they think that are Viceroix or kings or something else, customer are peons. 2 days ago we enter an order for a BBQ, to be assembled and delivered. With the atrocities of the COVID-19 there is no way we can go and pick it up. Besides, I have a small car. I was told that they can order, assemble it, but I needed to pick it up. If I wanted in my house, the BBQ comes in a box. Now, I order a insecticide from the same store in Hudson, WI and they brought it to me house by an individual, like you have with deliveries from a very serious and responsible company like TARGET. If they have an individual delivering an insecticide, why not to charge more to deliver the BBG assembled, if that if what they want. I don't mind. What I mind, is that horrendous service that they have. I predict, that a this pace, Home Depot will be out of the market in no time. Sorry!

This Home Depot needs to make their employees accountable. Poor service. Poor management! Took a day off for delivery of appliance. Due to Home Depot mix up, I need to now take another day off. They just can't fix the problem for making a delivery on the correct day. Please find employees capable of completing their tasks.

My wife and I ordered carpet for three bedrooms in 2018 from Home Depot and it was installed by a third party, Erskine. The installers were terrible. They scratched doors that didn't need to be taken off and by tipping one over they punched a hole in our wall. While installing they also scratched all of the wall trim and some of the door frames so that some had to be replaced and the rest repaired. On top of it all the manufacturer of the carpets had to replace all the carpet because of defects. From this description of our experience you may think that we would hate Home Depot but they came through for us in the end. Lee Johnson, the flooring manager, saw to it that the carpet was replaced and worked to get the company to pay us for all the damage so that we could get the necessary work done. She truly cared about fixing the problem, she did a good job and I hope she gets some form of recognition since none of this was really her or the companies fault. As to Erskine, they have one person who knew what he was doing and that was Kevin. They were good for their word to have Kevin install the replacement carpets and so in the end the carpets look good. In the end we were satisfied to the extent that we will give them a chance to sell us new counters for our kitchen but we will be more diligent in checking the background of the people installing them.

Waiting on hold for over an hour, then being hung up on during the transfer...how incredibly frustrating. You need a better customer service system in place!

This is a review of carpet installation. Installation isn't really free. Twice we've had carpet install by Home Depot. The first time the installers Home Depot uses the quote came in, no stairs, with 30% overage. I felt that was excessive. I called around and found out they could do the job with much less overage. About $800 difference. The guys came out to do the job, didn't realize I understand Spanish, and were talking a butch of crap, very disrespectful. Banged up a new door, the arch in the hallway, freshly painted and were careless. I couldn't wait for them to finish and get out. The second time we had carpet installed by Home Depot the SAME installer calls to say he's running late. Then calls again several hours later to say he's not coming at all. He then says "I'll do it on Saturday". But I'm not available Saturday. Not his problem. I had to call Home Depot's corporate office to get the carpet installed in a timely manner. When the carpet was finally installed we had some remnants. I looked and one big square piece was roughly 10'x8', about a $700 worth just for that piece. I could have easily carpeted another room with the remnants. I told the installer when he arrived I understood Spanish. This guy has the nerve to say some crap in Spanish just to see if I actually understood him. I ignored him. Because I didn't respond he starts talking more crap. Home Depot says free installation, I'd say otherwise. I'm protesting Home Depot's flooring departments with my wallet! I'm going elsewhere.
