Homestead Parklands County Park is a gem of a spot, offering a variety of activities for visitors. The lake is full of perch, and there are many floats, kayaks, and small boats available for rent. The sand is clean, and the area is quaint, making it a great destination for families, kids, and friends. The park boasts paved and unpaved trails, allowing visitors to explore the scenic lake and its multiple docks. Visitors can also enjoy swimming, floating, paddle boarding, kayaking, or hiking, with equipment rentals available at times. The park is well-maintained, with clean water and beach space. Restrooms and picnic areas are also provided. While parking can be a challenge, the park's annual pass makes it a cost-effective option for frequent visitors.

This is my go-to for a gorgeous hike year round.Restrooms: Clean porta potties in strategic locations.Dog-friendliness: Welcome leashed throughout the park, except for the sand beach.Picnic area: A number of spots, including a small pavilion above the swim area.
