I called the main office on Safelites website, I explained to them I didn’t want the $395.00 calibration done because the last time they did it, it reset itself. They said that was fine but once I arrived at the Hudson location they told me they couldn’t do it without doing the re-calibration.

Poor customer service. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance, through my insurance company, to repair my windshield. On the day of the appointment they called to say the new windshield hadn't been delivered yet, and asked if if I could leave the car with them for the day. I didn't want to do that since the shop is over 10 miles from my home. They said they would see what they could do. Four hours later, after not hearing from them, I called back. The manager said they wouldn't have time today to do the repair, but could schedule me for next week. I said no and made an appointment with another auto glass shop close to home. I thought it would be easy to get the repair done with a insurer-recommended shop but it was just a big hassle and I don't trust them any more. Don't take your car here unless you like dealing with excuses.

Got the run around from this company....Got a quote, did not schedule and then went to schedule the next week and price went up 200.00. Continued on to the schedule screen with the new quote and no appotiements for Husdon WI location for weeks. I tired the chat... he could not help me... and then the chat person gave me a customer service number... I called that and she could not pull up the Hudson location. Told me here was not a location in my area. WTH.....Ended that call and then got a text I had an appt in Mpls. WTH.....I told her I did not want to schedule in Mpls. I found and called a different number customer service number I found on line and she still could not schedule me. She quoted me a third amount(50.00 less than the online one) and I asked is my coupon code would work. She did not recognize the discount code from an email I got from Safelight. Then, I asked her to give me the the number directly to the Hudson store so I could directly talk to the store in my area and she stated they don't have a direct line. Sorry Hudson WI store, you just lost out on a customer. Will not recommend anyone to use Safelite Auto Glass.

I had a rock hit my windshield, right in the central vision of the driver. I went to my insurer who recommended Safelite but said I could choose the vendor of my choice. It was easy to go right from my insurer's app to Safelight and it listed when appointments were available. I scheduled one for two days later and they were to come to the house between noon and five p.m. Changed things around to make this work. They never showed up and never contacted me to let me know that they weren't coming. Now I am stuck. Very poor customer service.

Took my 2021 Tacoma in for a a windshield replacement after hail damage. Safelite is a great shop if you want a low quality product installed by a low quality company. They won't give you one, but two leaky windshields and in return cost you thousands of dollars in repairs from water damage. Try to contact management about it? Good luck. Ended up taking my vehicle into the dealership where they found all the damage. Contacted not only the hudson location but also Safelite corporate. It took two months to get my vehicle back because of Safelites incompetence and unorganization. Would not recommend.

Waiting for 2 months now to get the piece of glass needed to fix my Subaru. I called the dealer and they can get it in 10 business days. The website and phone auto attendant are maddeningly difficult to work with. No apparent way to talk to a human being. Never again.

I had a chip repair that was to be 100% covered by insurance turn into a crack after the technician botched the repair and cost me $991 out of pocket to replace the windshield. I full think they intentionally cracked my windshield so they could up charge me for a replacement.

I brought our 2021 Highlander here as our insurance made it the simplest. The other two times i used this location, they forgot to reinstall my antenna and the other time, installed the wiper arms upside down- you turn the wipers on and they tried going over the hood!This last time, I got in my Highlander to leave from Safelite, and immediately the crash avoidance error was illuminated. I walked back in and was told it came in to the store that way. They told me I should probably go to a Toyota dealership. I said nope- and walked though the codes found in the vehicle with their tech. The installation tech ripped a wire off of the windshield camera heater. The technicians are not familiar with the vehicles they are working on and will try to pass the blame on to the customer. If I wasn't persistent I would've had to pay for Toyota to repair their mess up.Not acceptable for a company to lie and tell a customer that the part they broke was the customers fault.

Carson came out and took care of our rear windshield quickly and with great communication. Highly recommend using Safelite in Hudson!
