Glacier Wood Golf Club is a beautifully maintained course that offers a challenging and enjoyable experience for golfers. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition, with unique natural features like glacial boulders creating interesting fairway boundaries. The course features a mix of holes, including challenging par threes that provide good opportunities for impressive tee shots, and par five holes that can be reached in two from the white tees with accuracy. The layout is not a bomber’s paradise; most tee shots require precision, especially on water-guarded long par threes and an demanding par five that demands accuracy for success. The greens mostly slope back to front and are generally free of trouble, with good sand in the traps allowing for effective shot recovery. The practice facilities are above average, though they lack a bunker. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service both on the course and in the restaurant, which offers great food and drinks. Overall, Glacier Wood is considered a hidden gem, offering a beautiful setting and a memorable golf experience that keeps players coming back.
Very well maintained with lots of character. Offers a great challenge at a decent price. This is always a course I have to play a couple times a season and one of my favorite courses!
