Took our Calvin here to get him neutered, long acting pain meds, exam, vaccinated, ears cleaned, and a mani/pedi. I think the total cost for everything was $109/$110 and the care he received was amazing so needless to say we’ll be taking the rest of our cats here for their routine exams/vaccinations because the last place I had to take my rescued cats to wanted nearly $300 just for routine tests/an exam. No shots/meds/spay/neuter and that was IF they didn’t find anything wrong on just one cat. They must’ve gave him the good stuff because I’ve literally never seen him this relaxed before, once the initial high wore off. He did get really hyperactive around 9/10pm and started SCREAMING bloody murder because he was higher than giraffe balls. But he’s calmed down significantly now. (Yes he was dressed as a shrimp)So yeah if you need an affordable vet clinic please take your pets here (:

Edit in reply to owner: the staff told me completely different things every time I spoke to them. Other people on here have claimed you guys also do all the surgeries in one go. It's not tragic, you people killed the kittens by having them go into surgery at a young age. I have voice recordings of all the conversations I had with the staff and every single time I was told the kittens were healthy. It's also the fact that I was promised a kitten but you people chose not to give me one because you'd rather make money. Also, luna (not maple bc that's a lame name) came back weighing less. There's no way you people were feeding her because it took us ONE MONTH to get her to a healthy weight and to stop shedding hair. You people need to be investigated. Let's also add how they laughed when I told them my partner had passed.I saved a cat and her kittens, I had them taken into this facility. I put a finder's hold on the mom cat and one of her kitties. They never called me for the kitten and the excuse was that I didn't specify which one I wanted and that most of the litter had died off. Not only that, the mom cat was returned with severe issues, she was peeing out blood and was losing a lot of hair. They tried saying that the bleeding had nothing to do with them but they gave her to me fresh out of surgery and I have a voicemail of them telling me she just had surgery, I also have the paperwork. I also tried returning her bc I'm not able to care for an animal who has issues like that especially since my partner passed away after we put the adoption hold for her so I've been trying to contact them since before Thanksgiving to return her and they just barely got back to me today (January 22nd) and said she couldn't make an appointment for me till March and she didn't even give me a time and date, she just hung up. The lady said she was trying to reach me but she barely tried reaching out to me in the past week. All the employees I spoke to before her gave me completely different information, one of them said I couldn't return the cat till after Dec 17. The lady Reagan also made it apparent to me that the medical, adoption, and herself do NOT have proper contact with each other so they don't share important info with each other. Reagan also tried to tell me that I never told them about the cat's medical issues when I first called to ask about surrendering her so it's not their fault but I have a call recorder and when I asked her if she could at least do something about the employee who gave me misinformation, she said that they don't keep records of their calls, not even call logs. I'm not sure how a place like this is running so unprofessionally when it involves animal's lives and well-being. I've worked/adopted from the humane society before in Milwaukee and the people there LOVED the animals. The cat was also a stray so they should have caught and RELEASED her but, since I showed interest in her, they told me they wouldn't release her and they said I had to pay of I wanted her. All they care about is money. These people at this facility are irresponsible, and do not care about the animals. They only care about adopting them out even if the animals have clear issues. At first, i wanted to blame the obviously untrained employee but, after speaking to Reagan, I see that the problem is with the people who are running this facility. Please, save yourself the stress and go somewhere else unless you want to deal with unsympathetic/unprofessional staff, a pet with medical issues which they will try to blame on you, and completely different information from every single employee you speak to.Edit: I tried to share pics but had to delete them because they wouldn't put my review through. It's probably because the cat looks emaciated in the pictures of when we first got her back from them and in the second pic she looks healthier because we've actually been feeding her. They neglect the animals here.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR PET TITER TESTED BEFORE VACCINATION! Please do your own research so that you are properly informed. It could literally save their life. I wish I had known about it before my dog died. You would be better off finding a holistic veterinarian in your area that is more concerned about your pets health than pushing pharmaceuticals. They did not take me seriously about my dog having a reaction to the vaccination the previous year. They seemed more concerned about her raw food diet and the risk of rabies than to properly inform me about the risk of unnecessary or over vaccination. They leave a voicemail after two of my voicemails because she was having another reaction about a titer test after her vaccination?! This is something that is supposed to be done before vaccination. My very healthy almost 10 year old dog had to die because of a vaccination her system couldn't handle that I could have gotten an exemption from with a titer test. Please do your own research and try to find a holistic veterinarian that will take the health of your pet more seriously.

Last August we adopted a poddle chiwawa mix. The employees were friendly they gave my husband and i plenty of time to meet and greet. This shelter we meet in a room so other dogs are not distracted. I would highly recommend this shelter if your looking to get and give a special dog a fur-ever home.

I’d recommend very careful consideration when adopting a dog from this facility. About 9 months ago we adopted a 8 month old pit/lab mix. We should’ve know better… his papers about his past were a complete lie. They say he lived with kids, and only says he doesn’t like cats. On both occasions of introducing him to my half siblings(who are of middle school age) he attacked them. Anytime he sees kids walking by, he growls and wants to pounce. On both occasions of introducing him to family friends dogs who are very person and other dog friendly, he tried to attack them. We wanted to rescue to save a dog, it’s a hard lesson learned and we won’t make that mistake again.

Clean facility, and one in which the animals seem happy and well cared for. The adoption staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful for the whole process. Couldn't recommend this location highly enough.
