You’re supposed to be allowed second and third opinions elsewhere. That is, after all, normal in medicine and recommended. How juvenile for a clinic to be offended.. And way to distort what I said prior. Like the doctor from Airplane movie. When I attempted to bury all this, in back of mind and schedule an appointment anyway, she gives me a really long pause on phone. I said: Am I no longer welcome here as a client? Again, another long pause. She then tells me to call back on Tuesday and speak with clinic manager, which I think is other gal I attended High School with and a churlish angel.Lot of these clinics in south central, you really get the feeling of cliquey, classist, matriarchy, gender diversity, insularity, and prejudice issues. It’s like island of Themyscira. You really get a chill of misandry in the air and it makes you paranoid for pet welfare.Diversity is a practice of including people from a range of different ethnic, social background, and sexual orientations. I think a lot of groups have twisted definitions in America to benefit personal interests. A doctor is supposed to recognize a lot of this and appropriately adjust things. Not cum hoc and assume.FYI: I speak and affiliate only with my wife. It has been that way since completion of her medical training. Some in this community have an unorthodox way of behaving and circulating nonsense. Not accusing, but since my last visit, a nasty rumor turned up in a local public service system. And they repeated it in front of my spouse. That is violation and the timing is rather interesting, considering events and attitudes immediately prior, elsewhere, in exact same industry.I am happy so many had favorable experiences, but if each isn’t treated the same, is the message you send publicly entirely accurate? A lot of things stand out when shopping. If you were a dog owner shopping a clinic with mostly cat pictures, a female doing same for a clinic with all male employees, or something similar tailored to another venue. You’d especially take notice if they were treating you one way, but not the plenitude alternative.

They have always treated my furbabies and I like family! We've been going to the Janesville Vet clinics for over 14 years. Recently, we had to put one of our babies down. It was so traumatic for my children and I, but the staff treated us with kid gloves. So kind, caring, compassionate. I can not thank them enough. Even the weeks since we lost our Karma, they have been so wonderful.

We have recently switched and have taken all 3 of our dogs here, though now 2. They have been so incredibly kind and understanding and are truly dog people. They are no fear and take amazing care of our dogs. We had to recently put 1 of those dogs down and Dr. Victoria and Chelsea were so kind. They made sure we knew what was happening at every step and that we had as much time as needed to say goodbye. For such a sad time we left with such a sense of peace and could really feel the love!

I wish we could give them more than 5 stars. Dr Mike and his whole team are the most wonderful vet office we’ve ever dealt with. We unfortunately lost our 13 year old German Shepherd earlier this year, and have since gotten another dog and she has absolutely fallen in love with the office and it’s truly her favorite place in the world. We will be lifelong customers as they truly make us feel like family.

I have struggled with words to describe what happened to my family with this vet, I’ve been patient to see if these things were just a “slip up” or they really do not care about your animals well-being. Our rabbit passed away a week and a half ago, over something that this vet chose to not look further into. Doctor chose to prescribe pain medications, not fully understanding that it was legitimately too late for our rabbit. If the correct diagnostics were done in a timely and organized manner, which I have yet to see them execute, our rabbit would have been able to say goodbye a lot sooner and with a lot more dignity than she had left. Doctor said “just try the pain medications and we will do treatment Monday”. His continuing to put off her severe abdomen mass caused her to pass on in the madison emergency vet covered in bodily fluids as she was too weak to move. Our rabbit deserved WAY better than what she was dealt from this clinic. She deserved the correct diagnostics at the correct time rather than putting things off for 2 weeks and letting her wither away. They didn’t call to check on us the Monday after she passed. They never sent a sympathy card. They really did not care about the life of our rabbit and it is truly heartbreaking. We are so happy our rabbit is at peace and was taken care of in a comforting manner at the emergency vet. I highly recommend getting second or even third opinions before you let these people take your money and barely help your animals. Our surviving rabbit will be switching vet clinics immediatelyUPDATE: They were able to send a sympathy card 2 weeks after losing our rabbit. The envelope had a date stamp of the day after the first part of this review was written. I’d find a better clinic that is more compassionate and sympathetic. Do better please, Janesville Vet Clinic.

I brought my dog in with an emergency and the staff remained calm and sprang right into action. They never made me feel like a burden (though I’m sure I completely threw off their morning schedule) and were patient with all my questions. They walked me through everything we did and made sure I knew exactly what was going on. My dog is doing well and I truly cannot thank the entire team enough. Incredible service, attention to detail, knowledge, and compassion.
