I would like to like Joann's but can never find what I'm looking for. When you ask staff they are little to no help, they point and say over there. This is not how you treat customers. Checking out is a nightmare as they only have 1 register open and a long line. I'm guilty of leaving my item and walking away. Would rather go to the other craft stores in town.

Limited selection of fabric in-store for what i was looking for,still l a good place for craft supplies, staff is nice.

Visited JoAnn's Fabric and Crafts in Janesville, WI. The store is large and filled to the rafters with all of your sewing and crafting needs. There was staff available to assist with questions or to help locate what you needed. Well-stocked and shelves were neat and orderly. Cashier was friendly and shopping experience pleasant.

The manager that was staffed Saturday 2/12 was very rude and not the most helpful. It made for an uncomfortable experience.

The older lady who cut the fabric this past Sunday was unbelievably rude. As soon as she said, “next” I walk over, say, “Hi” and set down two rolls of fabric. Before she even touched the rolls she says, “You’re not making a tie blanket are you?” And I reply, “Yes I am actually; I know the choice of fabric is odd however I’ve made so many of these and I’ve never had an issue.” Then she says (RUDELY), “It’s teenagers like you that I have to talk out of buying this stuff. You’re wasting your money.” Then snickers and laughs to herself the whole time. She also complained halfway through cutting and said, “Ugh this fabric is so tough, you have good scissors right?”. I ignored her and then she goes, “Huh?” How rude. Reaching out to corporate as well. For starters- I am not a teenager, I don’t need her opinion and I don’t need her rude attitude. Get a different job if you’re so miserable and treat people like this! Also inserting a photo of the one of many tie blankets I’ve made with this fabric she was so confident wouldn’t turn out:

Clean and organized. Cashier is always super nice! Plenty of options in stock, I could spend a couple hours here if my husband didn’t mind!

Made the drive to Janesville because the JoAnn App said there were 9 in store. Found 2 lg and 4 sm on the shelf. Asked about the 9 from the app and got multiple stories about possibly being in the "OverStock"; "hard to get to", "no way to know what box they would be in"; from separate workers. Im glad i didn't buy online to pick up in the store. Sketchy receipt practices by the cashier who picked it up crumpled from the floor. Made them find my coupons too. There must be a pile there.

Most of the employees are cool with a guy asking questions about the correct terminology and what to expect when ordering items. But the one older lady she needs to be sent back to customer training. I would have given 5 stars but one bad apple!!!

I really like Joanns fabric store, unfortunately stock conditions were not very good. For the first time I couldn't find the materials I was looking for.
