We've been banking with this bank for many years. It amazes me, that they know me on a first name basis, and I go there once a month. The staff is always very friendly and courteous. My only complaint, is they stopped giving calenders out ?

We all know that people are more likely to submit a review after a negative experience, so I'd note that the number of negative experiences being reported here are pretty low. I've been a customer of this bank under current and former ownership for almost 50 years and have ALWAYS been treated very well. While the transition from Anchor to ONB did take away a little of the "home town" feel of the service, I've still been very satisfied. No problems at all. Pressure to "upsell" bank services are minimal, and when I asked them to stop, they did. Rates are competitive with brick-and-mortar competition. (online rates are a little better)

Worst bank in Janesville. Keep your money under a mattress before banking with this bank. Small bank only one in Janesville yet they want to charge big bank fees! Horrible tellers, and customer service!

The staff that works at the Janesville branch off of Holiday Dr are fabulous! They are very knowledgeable and a joy to work with.

Old National fumbled the transition from AnchorBank. Since that time, when there have been concerns, good luck trying to speak with someone locally. Your call goes to the national customer service line. If you do get through to the local branch with a question or concern and they say they'll call you back, don't "bank" on it.

This bank is horrible. My wife and I lost a lot of money because of this place about $15,000 loss. They are misleading when working to get a home construction loan. We had to keep putting money down for permits and other miscellanies things to get the loan approved. During that time I kept asking and checking with all the money spent that this would come off my loan or as part of the down payment need for it. They said YES every time and my up front coast would be lower. When it came to closing and money paid to have the approval of the loan they then turned it and said none of the money I used that would be accounted and would not be applied to any part of the loan. They would not account for the property I owned free and clear and said it was worth nothing.... We did not close with them and closed all are accounts there.

My account has NSF fees posted when it is not over drawn. This has happened multiple times and they have no answer as to why they are on there. I have to check my account every day to make sure every post is accurate.

Bank postings show negative balances even after a deposit has been made. When they took over AnchorBank, we had to pay over $250 in ISF because of the lack of posting deposits in a timely manner and my learning curve that went with it. Anchor posted immediately and I never had a problem with them. Now all I have are problems. Once a check is deposited, you don't even get the first $200 of it. Deposits typically don't post for 3 or 4 business days, but withdrawals post immediately, showing a negative balance for many days. Not an efficient bank.

They just deducted $114 out of my husband's account for ISF even though his account was never overdrawn.
