“Mounds in Janesville, WI. I went into the store searching for a new muzzle for my adult German Shepherd--the muzzle I had was plastic and several pieces had snapped, and was no longer safe for my boy to wear. My GS only wears a muzzle when he plays with his 25" horseman rubber ball! He likes to bite it and they pop! We are on ball 6 out of 4 years.I walked into the Mounds and was immediately greeted with a Welcome to Mounds and a huge smile by the cashier Jack K. I asked him where the muzzles were located and he said, in front of my register. Cool. Thank you, I said.However, muzzles are very different today than they were 5 years ago! Jack saw me struggling with which one to go with, and he called someone over to assist me; without me asking for help! It was Awesome! I did not catch the lady's name that assisted me, but she was VERY Helpful!I ended up purchasing a cloth muzzle, and to be honest, I believe it works better than the full mouth plastic muzzle I had! Again, I am only using it for playtime with a particular ball.Muzzles are great for protecting the dog and other people and dogs if the dog is anxious, unsure, or aggressive! It just needs to be fitted properly and the dog must be conditioned to the muzzle. Same thing with any training devices!Anyway, my experience at Mounds in Janesville, WI was very pleasant and awesome! I've been going to this Mounds since 2006, and have always had a good experience. But yesterday, Sat. March 3, 2024, was exceptional!Thank you to the 2 people that assisted me and Ace!”

“Bubbles n bows boarded our bunny for two weeks at a time, each summer, when my children were young. I am happy to learn that they still employ caring staff. We now have a dog, Rascal. We brought Rascal here for a bath. The staff was so kind he just loved it. A few days later, at the vet, a staff member remarked “wow his fur his really soft! His hair is softer than mine!” Of course we mentioned he had a bath a few days ago at Bubbles n Bows ?Thank you so much. Keep up the good work the bandana you guys put on him looked great too!”

“Don’t go to anyone else. Seriously. You will save money and actually get the best service. Keith is awesome, kind and will educate you on this fence. We had him install last year. Works great. But, beyond that, he is responsive and really cares. We needed to add fencing, due to my dog loving to eat rocks in an area with gravel. He came out, (quickly!) and added fencing. At a VERY reasonable price. When I called him today, asking for advice because my dog is sad and angry about the new fence around rocks. Well, he gave me excellent advice. He educated me about what to do. This is what we all talk about “service “. He cares and I can’t say enough “Thank you Keith!”Don’t waste your time on big name brands. Just go to him. He loves animals, understands them, and will not hesitate to help anyone. Thanks Keith.”

“The store is very clean. The small animals and fish looked well maintained. Staff was very nice and shared tons of information. They answered all our questions. They also handled the small pets. It looked like the small pets were used to getting some attention instead of being in their cages all day. Feeder insects were in good condition. There is a Petco 20 min closer to where I live, but this one is now my favorite.”

“This hidden gem is absolutely worth a stop. They were happy to let my large dog come in and shop with me and they loaded my bags of dog food without hesitation. Very clean, well organized, and friendly, helpful staff. If you don't like that the big box stores are putting the smaller mom and pop shops out of business, then put your money where your mouth is and spend your money where it matters!”
