Had some mechanical problems with my mower last summer and into the fall. So, I took it in for servicing earlier this spring. It runs like a brand new mower! Whoever worked on it was exceptional! The people at the counter were very helpful and friendly. A great place to deal with.

What did they get right? Prices were fair, labor was fair. They were helpful in unloading and loading my snowblower. What did they get wrong? Customer care sucked. They quoted a week for the repairs, it took three. I had to call multiple times for updates and when i found it was one part holding it up i did my own checking and that part could have been had directly from MTD instead of whoever they use, overnight or a couple of days priority. I'm having hip surgery and had to hand shovel snow because they waited for their provider. I would have gladly paid a little extra shipping to have had my snowblower back on time. Never given the option.

When we took them our 50yr old snow blower they fixed it up wonderfully! We used it for 12 yrs before we sold our house. Those workers know there stuff??

Porter's/Russo provides the right products & service to keep my lawn care/snow removal equipment earning a living. I purchased a new Toro snowblower this season & had a minor issue that needed attention. Within an hour they had it fixed & ready to work. The dealer makes all the difference.

Excellent personalized service with very knowledgeable staff. I made a new purchase of a Toro battery powered mower, snowblower, leaf blower and trimmer based on a friend's recommendation of Toro and Porter's service. I am looking forward to using the new equipment.

Had my mower for 3 weeks we dropped it off and we picked it up the only reason the mower didn't work is it had a bent blade I just didn't have time to take care of it myself due to work. I had my fiancée drop it off they seen her coming a mile away. They fixed the flat front tire on my zero turn with a $30 tire sealant. They sold me $13.00 worth of oil and filter sold me 2 new blades at $70.00. Then they sold me an inner tube for a brand new front tire that only needed air in it. Charged me $22.00 for shop extras. The total in extras and parts $146.00 it surprised me they were servicing the mower and fixing the blades they didn't replace the airfilter but out of all of that which I could do on my own and have many times in the past and will always do again on my own in the future it took them 1.5 hours to fix and my grand total was $150 in labor so basically for 2 new blades an oil change and fixing a flat tire my price was $300 that's too far for me. That troubles me thinking how many other people pay insane prices for small things porters service department completes in 3 weeks time. I could see maybe paying that if I had my mower back in 3 days not 3 weeks but still it was only 2 blades an oil change and a flat new tire

Very similar experience as all of the other negative reviews. Over estimated wait times. Was rude when I dropped of the mower, given it was a Friday 10 minutes before they closed but most of us work also, no reason to be rude. Was quoted 100$ and was 200$ for repair. Hourly labor rate is 95$ when most other places I called after I got my tractor back are around 85$. Save time, money and frustration and look somewhere else for small engine repair.

Excellent service. I called them 4 weeks out and told them to call me when my name came up as they are 5 weeks out. Called me, picked up my Husqvarna rider and cleaned , greased, tuned up and filters changed and dropped back off. Very reasonable price and very happy
