As their tag line says you can "Save big money at Mendards" especially if you catch them on one of their many 11% back days. The Menards store in Kenosha is huge and has all of your hardware needs across the whole array of improvement/upgrade range you may need. Menards has a huge selection of light fixtures and other lighting needs including a lot of not so main stream light bulb sizes. I have found myself visiting this location just for that reason.I haven't needed any of the speciality order department services where you can get specific cabinets or carpets so I can't speak to the service you receive but they seem to have a large selection meaning you will likely find whatever you are after. The appliance selection is good including Whirlpool appliances which are a personal favorite.The lawn/garden/lumber selection is huge and has had everything I have ever needed for projects I have had. The only criticism I would have in my experiences is that when you need large items from the back end of the store the pick up experience can be confusing. I understand the need to check in and out, however, finding what you need after you past the gate can be very lackluster.Overall a good store to visit for your home improvement needs, just know that you are going to a huge store so you may be there for a while finding things you didn't know you needed!

I love Menards for their Christmas decorations and giant outdoor house wreaths, but even more so for the customer service and friendliness of all the employees. I went in there at 6am as soon as the doors opened. Everyone was bright eyed and happy to be there, everyone greeted me and said hello. Ivan in hardware was very helpful in helping me find what I needed. Lulu the cashier that checked me out was so kind and sweet and beyond helpful. I love shopping at the Kenosha store so much even though I live closer to the Sturtevent store.

I have shopped at Menards since they opened in Kenosha and have had overall a great experience. Always have what I need which helped me a lot in all of my projects. People overall are friendly and helpful. I especially like there check system which is the great. Dont change! Recently I had to take a fairly large order of insulation back which I really don't like to bring things back. I had exceptional help from a girl named Katie at the return desk, very pleasant very helpful and left very satisfied. Thanks again.

I went in to Menards Kenosha to buy a dishwasher. Went to the Cabinets and appliances section had a woman named Susan help me . Nice lady but when it came time to purchase the dishwasher I wanted to take it out with me but she insisted I pull around to order pick up so they could pull it for me . I had to ask her where the dishwashers where kept so I could just go get one myself. Selling a product and following through with the sale on her end would of been great guest service instead of insisting I go somewhere else to go pick it up so she didn’t have to go get it .

I deal with a lot of the different Menards stores in IL & WI for my construction company. Kenosha Menards is by far the best of them all. Scott is the General Manager of the store and will always go out of his way to make sure you are taken care of. The staff is respectful, knowledgeable & friendly. Chris, Kyle, Keith, Bob, Kori to name a few, are always willing to help no matter how busy they are. I highly recommend Kenosha Menards!Thanks, RussTop Deck Construction, LLC

Update, negative stars! As you can see the manager asked me to email them after they read my review, because they value me as a customer. I emailed them, they never responded! Crickets. Original review: Zero stars! Bought 14, six panel pre-stained oak door kits from Kenosha Menards. Every single door had to be special ordered, every single door had damage or flawed manufacturing. Also purchased base board, those had damage or imperfections too. They handed me some wood filler and said here now you can fix them??? As an extra kick in the pants, the wood filler was dried up in the tube. The doors cost aprox $300 each with tax! They didn't offer any type of discount (not even a penny) or plausible resolution, aside from we will email you a form, you have to print it yourself, fill it out and snail mail it to corporate. The manager also proceeded to tell me the doors never deliver damaged, it was probably my contractor that did it! Ironically, they had some discounted doors on the floor and I was told, you can buy those if you want to, but they are damaged or defective. To boot, they were only discounted $10-$20 each. But wait, I thought the doors never, ever deliver defective or damaged???? Moving forward, if I ever want to buy something that is damaged or defective (at full price) and then spend more money on supplies and a carpenter to fix it, I'll be sure to shop there again!!!!!!!

I love the store. But don’t ever rent a truck! They charge a $300 deposit, which I was told would be returned when I returned the truck, that was false, you don’t get it back for 3-5 days.

I love Menards! Especially when you order something online and you go pick it up. They send you a QR code…. You drive up to the kiosk and it scans in the QR code…. The gate opens…. And you drive back to the Order Pickup area. You call a phone number and they will bring it outside…. or you can go inside and they give you a cart to donut yourself. The service is friendly and helpful. When you leave, they scan in the same QR code…. Check what you have loaded…. They open the gate…. And drive away. Simple and easy…. And FAST!

Thank you for Bob (from Windows & Doors department) for helping with the missing tube from the order. I wish I could say the same about customer service Assistant Manager Dominique. Bob walked over with me for customer service to address the missing tube issue. Dominique had no interest to help Bob, let alone, she had lack of interest to even acknowledge me and my father as customers. It was too much for her to handle a busy floor with returns, and one employee approaching her to address the missing part. She felt it was easier to walk away and open a register to help ring up. She walked away without even telling Bob if she was waiting on back up or something. Bob noticed, and immediately just got on the phone with someone to ask how he could help. He kindly walked us out, as the receipts would be handled on the back end and nothing was needed from us. Unfortunately I had to walk back into the store to use the bathroom. To my surprise, Dominique was back behind customer service. I kindly asked for the name of the customer service manager on site, her response is "that's me". I expressed dissatisfaction and wanted the manager, not assistant manager. With herr demeanor and lack of customer service skills, Menards management should consider what the core values of their customer service is. Management should reconsider their decisions.

Had disappointing experience here this morning (7/23 around 10:30a). I went to checkout on register 6 and placed a divider between my order and the guy behind me. The cashier rudly picked up the divider immediately after I set it down and put it back in the tray with attitude. Shame because I have been coming here since the store opened and cashiers have always been friendly. Not sure why she would be so hostile to a customer ttrying to be helpful.

As a handyman, Menards is my go-to place! This is the only place I go to pick up building materials. You can drive right up to lumber piles in the lumber yard which makes loading super efficient. BE sure to go to the building materials desk and get a pick ticket. You can take the pick ticket to the checkout line and then pull your truck into the lumber yard in back for the most efficient loading!

I'm sad for the decline of this store, it's staff and leadership. I love menards stores, but something has changed in the last 2-3 years. Zero attention to detail or customer service. This location in particular has the laziest and rudest staff. There seems to be little training or knowledge passed on to anyone who works the floor. Today I was picking a few bags of mulch from the garden center. All the flatbeds and lumber trolleys were gone. I walked from outdoor garden to customer service for help. They asked if I looked in the garden center.... When I said I had just come from there, I was told they must all be in the parking lot and then they walked away. I decided to grab a cart and fewer bags of mulch. The front pallets were empty, so my daughter and I had to reach to the top of another pallet for product. A leader with his headset on walked past us three times, and then spoke about us into the headset saying "people are just grabbing a fishing bags from back pallets". Yes. We are. We are here for mulch and no one at your store is helping. At the register, a plant I had did not have a sku sticker. It held up the entire line because the cashier had no idea how to solve this using her handheld device. Even when I looked the item up on line and showed her the item code. After minutes of waiting on her, we went and got another plant to scan. The lawn and garden dept. has been terrible with price stickers this season. Each time I visit, an area of product out for purchase is not tagged. Last week it was all the phlox, today it was green hanging baskets.

Worst experience ever. They wait till you arive to pick up order before picking your order so unprofessional i recommend not shopping this location especially for pick up orders. What a joke.

Thank you Ricardo for helping with find my floors, calling the other store before making me drive and going above and beyond with explaining flooring, types and recommending. Its hard to find people that are so attentive and understanding with everything. Menards please recognize employees like this is hard to find. Thank you Ricardo, Menards and many stores need more employees like you!
