Some people are getting help here so I don't want to infringe on that. I tried to make a donation, in the low hundreds, in hand bc a fee is required online in proportion to the gift so I would pay a twelve dollar processing fee. The leader didn't say thank you and the man who walked me down the hall way didn't speak to me until at the door, a fake have a good day, looking over me not at me. Don't appreciate these attitudes.

Was my first time going there soon once in a tough time. The volunteers were AMAZING and VERY KIND. I never expected to receive so much food. Thank you to everyone who donates to them and to all the employees that work there. You all are making a huge difference in our community.

First of all the Salvation Army is a church a church that follows the teachings of Jesus Christ. They also help people where they are able in food distribution, by different ways where able. Money is not always available to help with rent, or bills, but they will do the best they can, not always the way people want, or demand. Their charity is only able to help if people are willing to give of their time (bell ringing at Christmas ) or of their gifts.

Don't try and schedule a pickup with them. I scheduled a pickup through their website almost a month in advance (received a confirmation email with pickup info and everything). Waited around all day for no one to show. Turns out they cancelled the pickup for no reason and didn't even bother to notify me, even though they had all my contact information and could have done so. Waste of time.

I belong to a ministry that meets at the Salvation Army building for Bible Study every Thursday up stairs. Every time I am greeted by so many people helping others who need the food and a friendly people who are so willing to help. Salvation Army is a place to go for any needs a person has. All are doing a good way to serve God by helping others. God Bless your ministry.
