I love this shop and the owners. They are very honest and have the best meats in the area! I love having a local option for fresh, locally raised meats. You never know what you're getting from big grocery stores. They also support veterans with a generous discount. This business is awesome, and I definitely recommend you stop in and check it out.

This meat market is such a gem in Kenosha. An incredibly friendly family business with meats that they raise themselves locally! If they don’t have something, they are very attentive in helping you find a substitute or having something you need ordered. The store has a great variety and the ladies had wonderful suggestions on new things to try as well. It was a joy to visit and I will be back again and again!

My husband and I started buying from them last year. We love that it's local and love how knowledgeable the owner is. I personally have never been a big fan of brats but their brats are absolutely amazing!! As is everything else we've gotten from them!

I’d first like to say the shop was clean, organized and was visually appealing.What happened next was the worst retail experience I’ve ever had.I had picked out some jerk chicken wings that I was really excited about.It was the day of the car show and I still had so much more to see. I asked the store clerk, “what time do you close,” she replied 6:00 p.m. i decided, easier to come back than carry them around.My husband wanted a diet coke and asked me for a few dollars to pay. I asked him to wait a minute, because I was looking at very tiny fudge squares. I decided, yes, i wanted one. I started unzipping my purse to get my wallet and the store clerk started yelling across the room. She asked me, “are you planning to pay for that before you put it in your purse.” I’m so innocent, I thought she was joking. My husband picked up that she was being serious. He became enraged and said let’s get the F—- out of here!I have never been so insulted! They not only lost sales that day, they lost new customers! Not that I’m blaming ownership, but please hire competent employees.An update: The store clerk has now defamed my name by stating I stole the piece of fudge. She also, stated that I came back for the chicken wings. That is another one of her blatant lies.If my husband was blocking the cameras. How did the Kenosha police and the owners see me stealing a less than $2 piece of fudge.The criminal in this occurrence is the store clerk making false statements.I never stole anything, or had any intention of stealing, that or any other day.My attorney will be contacting you to verify the camera footage. Defamation is a serious offense!

I am the husband and my wife would never take anything steal anything, and I was so hurt and mortified that somebody would treat her that way I wanted to get out of there and I didn’t want she still wanted to pay and then leave because she wanted what she had picked out I was like we can’t give these people business let’s go let’s get that Out of here. Thank you.

Great selection, curated through thoughtful processes. If you go to Sherwood, you can guarantee the food and products you get are local or without mass-market processing. Dawn's always got a great idea and I cannot wait to see this business grow.

I have been going to Sherwood for years. We have tried all their different types of delicious meats and they are our go to for eggs.For St. Pattys day, we bought their corned beef and oh my gosh...it was delish! Highly recommend.

Great selection of different meats and cuts. Also has cheeses, dairy products, eggs, desserts, refrigerated side dishes, and more. Friendly service. When I was looking for something in particular, she made a recommendation for something similar and prepared it for me right away.

Excellent selection of meats. Lamb, pork, beef & chicken all raised on their own farm. Eggs are wonderful and they also carry seasonal items. Worth visiting - very friendly !!!

Great little store. Quality meat, cheese, jams, dog treats, and more. My Thanksgiving turkey was from them and was delicious. Good clean food with friendly service.
