The trailer arrived as scheduled. The driver was very patient with me as I changed my mind where I wanted it placed after he had already turned around once for me. He showed me how to operate the ramp, bulkheads, and doors. I wish we had noticed the tree that was in the way of the door. The tree is now missing a few small branches. You might also want to sweep it good before you load. I did not and the floor left stains on some of my moving pads. My full trailer was available to unpack sooner than I expected. Because you have 3 days to unpack it, and they did not pick up on the weekend, I actually had 5 days, I loved not being pressured. Because I packed it, I knew where things were, how to safely unpack things, and the only one I could blame for any damages was me. It cost me exactly what I expected to spend, so I would definitely recommend if you have the muscle or help to load things up and down a ramp into/out of a semi trailer.

we moved from Illinois to Pennsylvania and it was by far the cheapest option we got a quote for 7 feet and was told about the charge per additional foot used. we ended up using 8 feet. the price was exactly what was quoted! no hidden fees and everything is included in the quote. the driveway at the house in PA is a lot less than ideal and although we couldn't get it parked right out front the driver got it as close as he could without taking out the powerlines or damaging the truck. nothing broke in the trip to the house but did have some shifting but that was because the of how we packed it. the trailer was delivered exactly 7 days from pick up at first location. this is definitely the way to go if you can't or don't want to make a lot of trips or are moving a far distance. we definitely recommend this company and may use them again to move if we ever move again!

I recently just moved out of state and had gotten several quotes from moving companies all of which were very expensive I'm talking about 11 to $12,000, way out of my budget. I had used PODS for local moving but they couldn't help me as they did not go to the state where I was going. Pods referred me to U-PACK. Prior to deciding to go with U-PACK I went online and got a quote which was very reasonable. I had concerns that needed clarification and had to call for help. U-PACK's customer service was great! My sales rep, Jonathan was awesome! Jonathan assisted me with a door-to-door delivery which was awesome! The ABF truck was just what the doctor ordered, it fit all of my belongings with room left over. I can truly say it was a smooth transition. The staff from sales, customer service, dispatch to the drivers were helpful and great!! I highly recommend this company for long distance moving and would definitely use them again! Thank you U-PACK team!

Really great service and value. All employees were courteous and friendly. The only problem was delivery to new address was delayed 2 days due to lack of drivers, but they gave us extra time to unload which was appreciated. Besides the delivery, a really great experience. Highly recommended.

This is our second time using U-pack for a full DITY military move and they have been amazing each time. The terminal in Kenosha included a hand truck in the trailer since we didn't have one. They also dropped off the trailer to load and be picked up in the same day. It took about 6 days to get our trailer from Chicago to San Diego. Gen at the terminal in San Diego was awesome as well and helped us get our trailer here as soon as it arrived and was able to get the trailer picked up same day. I can't say enough about how easy this company is to work with and will use them for every future move!

I highly recommend U-Pack. My sister in-law hired a moving company off the internet and it became a nightmare. She had already relocated to Arizona and I was still in Kenosha to tie up loose ends for her including her household belongings being packed and moved. The other moving company moved the pickup date 6 times and with the closing of her house less than 48 hours away, we cancelled that mover (substantial deposit money at risk) and hired U-Pack. The Kenosha terminal empl

Excellent service in getting our trailer on time and picking it up in a very timely fashion. We moved from Illinois to Washington state so we surely didn't want to drive across the western part of the country in a rental truck. It was the best decision and we were very happy with our delivery date and the length of time to unload was very generous. We only needed an hour and a half to unload our seven feet of space and by doing it on a Sunday it was easy to drive from the terminal to our new home. Just great folks to work with and outstanding service all along the way!! Highly recommend their service!!

It is impossible for the Upack company to pick up my stuff on October 6th in Kenosha. It's supposed to be in Phoenix Arizona but it's still in Kenosha 10 days later. I can't believe that happened to me . Upack sucks.

Overall, U-Pack was wonderful. The only minor issue I had was with the bulkhead which wasn't a major issue. Pros: * No-hassle instant estimate. U-Pack didn't require a phone number to get an estimate (and thus didn't harass me with constant calls like their competitors are doing). * The drivers are super helpful. Every driver I talked to was great and went above and beyond to help get the ramp ready and to make sure that the trailer was placed to make loading and unloading easier for me. They never seemed rushed to drop off and move on. In my case, getting the trailer into my driveway was quite difficult but the driver found a way to make it work. * The website is very easy to use and convenient. I could request pickup and drop-off with literally one-click. It also provided detailed information on the status of the truck at all times. Cons: * The bulkhead is a bit of a pain. In my case, it was damaged which prevented the lower half from locking into place. I was able to get to work though despite the damage though. Tips: * Make sure that you have a clear address sign. Mine was obscured by some trees which made it difficult for the driver to find the location. * Make sure you have some gloves. You won't want to move the bulkhead or ramp without them on. * The trailer is taller than most other trucks. This means you might need to trim some trees that are not usually a problem for smaller trucks (like UPS trucks). * Purchase lots of e-track adapters (like these: and ratcheting straps. I bought 40 e-track adapters which was almost exactly how many I needed. I also found that the best ratcheting straps were those that had a 10 foot long strap. My 15 foot straps were too long. I prefer the ratcheting straps that don't have the e-track adapter built in because I can then use them for other things that don't use the e-track adapters.
