My biggest issue was the owner not controlling his dog to stay away from my service dog (who is accredited, professionally trained and wears a noticeable harness and leash showing he is working). This is a federal offense if I report it but I have tried to quickly get what I need and get out without needing him but proved this is not possible.

It is convenient to have a local hardware store. It's a nice store, but you pay for that convenience. In other words, if you need something and don't want to drive to a larger city to get it then buy local. If you are concerned about cost go to a Lowe's, Manard's, Home Depot.

Very nice new hardware store hadexactly what I was looking for... I didn't really get to look around much... had some old school boat motors for sale so I'm guessing they offer small engine repair or might have access to some one who does... its attached to a dollar tree/family dollar in and old Shopko hometown building...
