I rent from here at once a month. Most times I rent a car the person working the desk is late. Currently I've been sitting here for 15 minutes, and no one. Also can't get in touch with anyone.

Today, 4 Dec 21, you gained me as new customer at the La Crosse Airport Enterprise rental car facility. While waiting at the competitor's booth next door, Avis, for the MIA Employee to show-up and assign a car without a Flat Tire, I had the opportunity to observe the Enterprise employee manning the booth around 5:30pm... can't remember his name, slim well dressed individual, perhaps he is the local manager, not sure... Any how, I was so impressed with the way he handled a very challenging customer for over 35 minutes... The lady came in with an expired driver's license, difficult accent to understand, and clueless about the car rental requirements... This Enterprise employee went out of his way to explain the rules and guide the customer on what to do, presented in a very cordial and clear way to the customer.... I said to myself, this is the kind of person I would want to represent my business... professional and keenly aware of the customer's needs and shortcomings... I sat there for over 30 minutes, enough time to compare the Avis encounter I was experiencing vs the dynamics next door at the Enterprise rental facility... my verdict is Enterprise Rent a Car a the La Crosse Airport for me here on... it's funny how sometimes it's the little things that make such a positive impact and from now on I will steer my corporate credit card towards Enterprise at La Cross Airport, instead of my usual for the last 8 years, Avis. To the Enterprise area manager in charge of the La Crosse Airport location, don't let that "slim guy" get away, he is a keeper...!

Warning: Call to confirm your reservation!! I booked online with a third-party website, I received the reservation confirmation email & upon arrival for pick up was informed that they had overbooked and didn’t have enough cars. I have never had an issue with this company before so I was shocked by the oversight. Fortunate for us, we had a secondary option and weren’t left stranded. Though, I was informed several others were also turned away and unable to pick up a car because of overbooking and car shortages.The booking agent was very polite and apologetic (and of course, this wasn’t their fault), which is why I gave this rating 2 stars instead of 1. Overall, very disappointed in the company’s management of bookings and reservations and would strongly recommend calling ahead to confirm your reservation.

Told by Enterprise that they woud be there for our late arriving flight. No one was there, no number to contact, and just an outright lie. Extremely disappointed. Would put zero stars if able.

Billy at the front desk was a lifesaver. Great service and waited after closing when our flight with American got delayed over and over (surprise right...). Enterprise/national has always taken care of myself and my family. Thank you!

If you need to make a change to an existing reservation they're impossible to get a hold of. They never answer the phone regardless of the time of day.

Had called to get price and locations for renting a car for a one way to accommodate me taking a train to one city and using rental to return to city of origin's train depot. Was told both depots housed Enterprise rentals . Mercy, I was given false information in both cost and where the rental would occur. I was quoted $75 for a 24 hour rental (to pick up at a depot and return to depot in another city). Decided on a spur of the moment to venture out on this train trip but at arrival discovered there was not an Enterprise office at either depot, which meant using the airport location (adding additional transportation costs), and the rental price offered was $179! No negotiation in this outrageous price over what I was originally quoted! I turned it down.

I am only giving enterprise at the la crosse airport a 5 star rating because of the manager Frank. I was scheduled to pick up my car (for a week) at 8 am, and we get there and noone was there and we were told they don't open until 11. Luckily, frank had shown up shortly after us, noticed we needed help and helped us right away- he was there early for some reason. Anyways, he gave me excellent customer service, answered all my questions, and was super nice when 2 of my 3 credit cards declined which was SUPER embarrassing. So thank you Frank, we will probably be a regular from now on, solely because of you!

Bad experience at Enterprise Rent-A-Car (227 3rd St S, La Crosse, WI) La Crosse WI airport location on May 18, 2019: my friend had reserved a mini van for a long trip with her three kids and me for a wedding in Kentucky. She had a 2:00 pm pickup reservation. After finding a place to park, we walked in just after 2:00, and no one was at the Enterprise desk. My friend asked the rep at the nearby Budget/Avis booth where the Enterprise rep was and she pointed to a young man sitting on a bench near the door. My friend told him that she was here to pick up the van she reserved, and his response, without getting up, was "It's 2:04. We're closed. I'm leaving." After our shocked response, we asked if he could please help us get the van we reserved and needed. He said he couldn't and left. The wonderful person, Lisa, at the Budget/Avis counter stayed late and worked her "magic" to get us a van. Why Enterprise would have a 2:00 pickup time without making it clear that they close at 2:00 is ridiculous since the process of completing the rental takes at least 15 minutes. The fact that this employee (Johnathan) made no attempt to offer any customer service at all is unfathomable. #EnterpriseHatesItsCustomers

The posted time says 10pm but in person the people leave by 6pm. Something needs to be changed and addressed.
