Took our little Luna the hedgehog to Hillside after getting her as a rescue. She hadn’t had the best experience with people, but I wanted her to have a checkup to ensure everything was okay. They were amazing. Took their time to make sure Luna was as comfortable as she could be while also making sure she was healthy. Definitely would recommend them ?

My dog had an emergency and they were able to get us in within an hour of me calling! They were absolutely wonderful. My dog hates new people and they were so gentle with her. Not one issue.

Can’t say enough great things about our experiences at Hillside. With 2 dogs and 3 cats and a few veterinary emergencies, we’ve had a lot of experiences there! I’ve always been very happy with the care my critters have received.

While on an extended visit in La Crosse, our 9 1/2 year old dog began having issues with one of his paws. A growth/tumor appeared almost overnight and began growing very rapidly. I called Hillside Animal Hospital and they got us in right away. Even though it was our first visit, they treated us like we were part of their family. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The vet who examined our dog was so thoughtful and very thorough in his examination. He explained in detail his recommended treatment and answer all my questions in a very helpful and caring way. Two days later, they called to make sure Aspyn the Dog was doing well and to see if we had any additional questions or concerns. I would highly recommend their services to anyone! They are extremely reasonably priced and the entire staff is so kind and caring. Thank you, Hillside Animal Hospital for all you did for Aspyn the Dog!

Every single staff member and doctor is genuinely caring and compassionate. We feel like family, not “clients”. There are clinics closer to our house, but I happily make the longer drive.

I was desperate to help my sick cat after being charged 412 dollars was given a 10 dollar prescription three days later was told I was rude when calling for the sixth time. they did not take my contact info and after totally ignoring social distancing protocol to collect cash was rushed out the door "because I have been here all day, I need to get home" I have never filed a complaint in my life, I will in this instance.

The veterinarians and staff are fantastic. We recently had our beloved dog die, and they were very compassionate. They have a fund to help animals in need called 'Harry's Helping Hands'. Anyone wanting to help animals should consider donating to their good cause.
