Me and my wife spend a lot of money at your store annually this last Saturday and Sunday. Ordered a Masterforce compressor, delivery was 2-3 weeks out. Needed one for the shop ASAP, so when I found a better deal elsewhere with it on the shelf I went that route.
Tried cancelling the Masterforce one a couple days after it arrived and they insisted I pay a $450 restocking fee. Nowhere was this stated in the description, the description even stated if your not 100% satisfied for any reason to return it for a refund. Apparently not a full refund....
Buyers beware if it's not on the shelf, you won't be allowed to return it for your money back.
If it was custom doors I would get, but their own brand of air compressor considered a custom order? Give me a break. Come on Menard's stand behind your own product!

Update 6/22: The staff they have really will go above and beyond to help you get what you need.
Whatever project you are tackling, they have the tools and material you need. The staff is fairly knowledgeable and always helpful. I have found then to have a better selection than the Depot for most of my projects.

I've been a loyal customer for years and have always had great experiences. However, tonight was disappointing. An older lady, who was blonde and smaller in build, took an item out of my son's hand without realizing I was there. When I confronted her, she denied it and tried to argue. Later, when I spoke with the manager, the same lady continued to engage with my son and ignored my request for her to stop. Her behavior was unacceptable and needs improvement in customer service.

One of your truck drivers arriving around 10am June 21 2025 in la crosse Wi was yelling and swearing and flipping us off to get us to move so he could pull in from the turn lane when we were exiting the parking lot waiting for cars to pass so we could exit I was with my wife and daughter and did not appreciate this, very unprofessional and should be dealt with

I live a less than a mile from here and go by everyday to & from work. I use this store for work purposes and personal. But today, I am headed for a 7 mile bike ride to Walmart, because this store is not bicycle friendly. Most of the time when I arrive by bike there is not a good spot for locking up and whenever I mention this at the service desk, eyes glaze over. I get it, not a lot of bike arrivals here and I'm sure they would prefer I come with a pickup and fill the bed. That's never going to happen, and my one item today will be bought elsewhere.

Been going here for years. Great store, but the lady in hardware (I'll update with her name) and one of the guys at building supplies need to work on there customer service. Hardware lady has a bad attitude out the gate and will lie to your face when you try to warranty a product. The guy in building supply will lie to you TWICE, and then lie to his own coworker over the radio, within earshot of you, in order to make YOU look like an idiot, to cover up his own lie. That said, I'll keep going back, I'll just avoid asking these two individuals any questions.

I haven't heard anything positive about this place, and I refuse to spend my money here. It's clear that they have issues with racism and don't hire Black people. Now that they've been exposed, they'll likely try to hire Black individuals just for show to create a false sense of diversity. Don't be fooled by their act! I stand on what I said to.

Had rhe stuff I needed and the employee who helped me with getting what I needed to replace the window screens. I have to rebuild 2 of them and he explained to me the correct way to do them
