Salvation army has always been my go to thrift store in CA. But this one is an exception. Ive never seen such high prices at a second hand store for things that quite honestly, not worth it.You can find what you're looking for on marketplace. You'll find odds and ends from time to time, but I thjnk this will be my last time shopping here unfortunately. One of the smallest Salvation armys as well

Prices are ?. Beat up and broken furniture.. $60+. $20+ for stained sweatshirts and zip ups. I think I’ll order new ones for 5$ more. Right on par with goodwill

Prices are the same here as Goodwill. Some of the items you're better off buying brand new than buying here due to the price. The store was clean and the staff was friendly.

Some items are a bit high priced, such as furniture, but otherwise alright.

When I'm down in LaCrosse, I always make time to shop at the thrift store. There's always some sort of sale, and I have found such unique treasures there. The employees are helpful and friendly. And it's great knowing the money I spend goes to help other people who are having a hard time. The Salvation Army of LaCrosse is truly a blessing to the people who are in need of their services. :)

I really like the clothes that they sell here, but there is this lady that works there that says the store is closing 15 minutes before they actually do. She also turned the lights off on us while we were looking around. The guy that works there is great though and he’ll give you great deals!

This store has offensively high price tags on their stuff considering they got the stuff donated for free.Clean atmosphere and friendly staff.

Probably the best place to shop in La crosse. Most understanding employees and I’ve noticed they’ve all been working there long term which shows they’re happy with their jobs too! Grateful to have a spot to shop like this one! Thanks for always changing up your deal Days, that makes it more fun.

Decent selection, but it seems really unsafe and disrespectful to the customers for them to just shut off the lights for the entire store fifteen minutes before they're even closed. If it was right at 6 when they're supposed to close I'd almost get it, but there's a lot of older/disabled people who shop here that could bump into any number of things around the store and get hurt trying to get back up front. The staff obviously didn't take our concerns about the issue very seriously either considering they directly benefit from it. ? Not very Christian behavior to say the least, but there's not a lot of that left anymore unfortunately.

Loved our experience here!!We purchased a large piece of furniture shortly before closing time. We had a full vehicle at the time, and were not able to take it. All furniture needs to be claimed within one business day, and as we are from out of town, it needed to be taken that evening. They were extremely accommodating!!! They had us take our purchased furniture, and allowed us to leave the furniture already in our vehicle in the entryway of the building until they closed, and said they would put it on the sidewalk when they did close so we could come back and get it. We returned about 20 minutes after closing, and they had put our other furniture right outside the entryway with a 'sold' paper taped to it to ensure that it wouldn't be taken. We GREATLY appreciated their help and accommodation!!!

!!DO NOT COME HERE!!I picked 4 different pieces of furniture, one of them was a wooden curio cabinet, a coffee table, a different cabinet, and a couch. I had put each piece of furniture in one of my bedrooms, days later it had an AWFUL smell, I cleaned EVERYTHING the BEST I could using every method the internet had to provide, finally I took the couch out, days later it STILL STUNK so horrible in my room, so I decided to take the curio cabinet out this time, roughly 5 days after I had taken both items out my room STILL STUNK like old musty mildew. I called and stated that it was a problem and I’d like my money back but “Jeremiah“ stated that there are no cash back only in store credit and I can come pick out new furniture, he also stated they do a “smell test” on all furniture, I don’t know how you can smell every knic and cranny in a piece of furniture and still not smell something odd, if they did do that I wouldn’t have spent $200 on something that has my house smelling DISGUSTING, it’s been about another 5 days since everything has been out of the room and it still smells, I’ve shampooed my carpets, completely wiped all my old furniture down, MY ROOM STILL STINKS, absolutely disgusting. Save your few extra $100 and go to Facebook marketplace.

LOVEEEEE this place. Every worker is awesome. It is good vibes in there. It smells like your childhood you know. I just moved here and everything is soooo reasonably priced compared to thrifts that were around me. I also find the coolest things here!
