I came in, stated what I needed, I was setup quick and on my way. When I returned the truck, I pulled into the lot, a guy came out, said I could leave the keys and he would take care of it. Very nice work!

Shane was super helpful here. The website wouldn't let me order a box package on line, and Shane gathered all the materials onsite to get me going. They don't stock all moving materials in store, so there were slight variations, but he got me set up would highly recommend.

Very busy store with a significant inventory. They had the auto transport I needed. Thomas was 3-5 customers deep, but took time with each of us and never was frustrated or flustered. He was amazing! Looking forward to my next rental. Thank-you!

Had a walk in reservation put in last Friday for a 4x7 trailer for Sunday but it was reserve so the employee that day told me the only ones they had available were the 5x8, so i took it. Sunday comes around and I got there a little after 9am, they were pack with customers. The employee yells out to everyone that he can only help people with reservation only. So I waited in line for over 2 hours. When I got to the counter the employee there tells me they are out of trailer and said there were non available.

5 stars for Will the GM from Madison, who was filing in today. So kind, pleasant, and had a smile on his face. We were there the day after UWLs graduation to get a trailer. There were at least 8 groups ahead of us, unfortunately we needed to wait for over and hour and 45 min⦠2 hours total from the we walked in to the time we drove away.
Will never once got angry or visibly upset by anyone, he just worked hard to get everyone through ask quick as he could. Thank you , Will for the great customer service.

Canceled my reservation 3 days before pick up with no alternatives. Too late to find a storage unit in a college town the week of move out. Terrible customer service, would not recommend.

Only 1 poor guy working when I went to get my reserved pickup truck because someone had called off. I was the 7th person in line, and the line quickly built to the door. It was taking him at least 20-30 minutes for each customer. There were so many trucks and trailers in the parking lot that you couldnāt even get your own car into the lot! With it being college move in/move out weekend, the Rose St location did a very poor job staffing if 1 person calling off caused this. I cancelled my reservation because I couldnāt stand around waiting for 4 hours waiting to be helped.

I checked web page and it said they are open until 5 PM. I planned my trip to get there by 4:26 PM to refill my RV propane tank. I went in and they told me they don't sell propane after 4:00 PM. Turned me away on a cold night due to poor customer service.

After reserving a moving truck to be picked up in Winona MN, I received a text message letting me know that they didnāt have a truck I need and the the only truck they had had a dead battery, so I was told to pick up the moving truck in LaCrescent, WI where the dealer had not approved the truck so we were then instructed to go to LaCrosse where we could finally get the truck we needed. Though this caused extra travel, U-HAULās customer service was great and compensated us for mileage plus hassle. They truly made the best out of the situation at hand. The flaws in reserving had nothing to do with the company itself and we are grateful for their help, understanding and compensation. Thank you, U-HAUL.

Iāve used U-Haul a few times and each time is basically the same. The staff there seem to be working hard for the most part but I donāt think Iāve ever been there and not waited in line for upwards of an hour each time. They seem severely understaffed. You can tell that everyone (staff and customers) are all grumpy and upset because thereās not enough help and everything is really disorganized.

I may have had worse customer service experiences at some point, but itās difficult to try to think of when.Just donāt bother trying to come within an hour of closing, theyāll try to charge you for it.

From the moment I pulled up the guy manning the check in was rude. He didnāt know how to do something (which is fine), but then the manager (?) came out and said we were at the āwrong locationā (we werenāt). I imagine that it was because it was about fifteen minutes to closing.I said she was being lazy, which perhaps I shouldnāt have said, but then she LOUDLY accused me of ācussingā at her. Which I did not.After spending $2700 and traveling 1200 miles, this was an extremely poor welcome to this town.

The staff are clearly trying but are understaffed. The online check in/out process is only so helpful, and you may end up waiting in line for a long time.
