This Walgreens location always has what I need. Friendly staff, clean, organized, short prescription pick up times, machine to renew your vehicle registration. They have a huge assortment of over the counter medicines, products for treating minor injuries (bandaids, gauze, wraps, braces/slings, etc.), ointments, powders, hygeine products. They have a lot of drinks, food, snacks, baking supplies, decorations, and candy. Lots of local La Crosse area apparel, as well as other clothing, outdoor supplies, toys, etc. A great place to pop in to grab gifts while you're on the go.

I ordered 2 custom wall calendars on December 21, 2023, one for a gift. It was a same day pick up. I received the email that they received it. I wasn't expecting an hour, or same day because of Christmas, but never heard anything about my order. I called a couple days later, and asked about it. After a long, wait on the telephone, a female informed me that they ran out of paper to make the calendars, and no one in the entire city has any, so she will have to call everyone, and see what they want to do. I never hear another word about my order. I called back on December 27, 2023. Another long wait on hold. I finally get a gentleman who says my order has been ready for pickup since December 23, 2023! I had to tell my friend who invited me for Christmas Day, I didn't have a gift because of a supply problem. Today after checking again, my order was actually done on time, and my friend should've received her gift on time, except for incorrect and no communication at the Mormon Coulee Rd Walgreens employee.

Got the text that said come pick up your prescription when I got here they told me they deleted my prescription. So I had to wait even longer (in the drive thru) for them to put it in a bag. 10-15mins on top of the 10 mins I sat there.

Store in general is OK....the pharmacy however is ridiculously slow. I have been to this pharmacy three times now and it has taken a minimum of 30 minutes every time, just to pick up a prescription that was ready. Today's visit took 45 minutes for a scheduled booster shot. I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out the paperwork, but waited 10 minutes in line, took 5 minutes to get registered, waited another 20 minutes for my paperwork to be ready for me to fill out, then waited another 10 minutes because a person who had a later appointment than me got his paperwork immediately and got to go ahead of me. As I sat there waiting for my paperwork, I witnessed one lady being Waited on for at least 20 minutes...leaving only 1 window open. At least 8 to 12 people were hovering around the pharmacy waiting for their prescriptions and to be waited on The entire time I was there. I have been to many other Walgreens pharmacy's and have not witnessed this slow of service. This is not an isolated incident, every time I go there...no matter what day or what time of day this Is what you will get.
