The cashier was so efficient and very friendly. He answered my question when I walked in and managed to get through a line of customers so fast, while still greeting and chatting with people. He definitely made my experience great.

Absolutely horrible service here. Whether in the drive thru or inside. Super long lines, prescriptions never ready, takes days to get one filled sometimes, just ridiculous. Oh, and they can never seem to be able to find your filled prescription when you are FINALLY able to get to the window. -5 stars if it was possible.

Can't get orders straight,doctor sent in a new order they sent the clinic a receipt saying they got order started filing it then said it was canceled. Call the clinic and it was not never can get certain meds when needed wich is not good as with my health need meds or I get sick and end up in hospital was told it would take 2 weeks. Had to transfer our prescriptions out so they could get filled very unhappy with their bad service.

Always friendly and professional.Gives good explanations of meds, side effects.Helps getting specialty pharmacy medications.I have seen them deal with difficult customers ,and they are patient and understanding, doing everything they can for customer.

West Avenue pharmacy has really caught up as far as being fast and efficient, compared to 3-4 years ago and the other locations that STILL can’t keep up that have a week or more wait or are closed weekends.
The delivery option is GREAT but it’s never 1-3 days as suggested. So submit refills ASAP.
However, calling and getting a person on the line, is really a hassle.
I’m so much more satisfied with West Avenue than my former location. I hated to leave it but I had no choice since I couldn’t go without certain medications.

Trying to speak to a human in the phone is mission impossible. Have ran the wrong insurance for my meds and told me to have to come back the next day to try it again, then they ran the wrong insurance AGAIN, had to come back another day. One month they gave me the wrong dosage and another month they gave me 3x the amount of meds I have prescribed. Never not have a “delay” and the app is frequently wrong/not coordinated with the pharmacy. My PCP clinic has been unable to reach them for two weeks and then another provider I see has also been unable to reach them. Finally switching pharmacies

I have tried to get a flu and covid shot at a Walgreen's in La Crosse twice now. The first time they couldn't get my insurance to run through and said they didn't cover it. For reference I am on Medicaid. I called my insurance and they said I was covered and the person at the desk must have typed it in wrong. The second time I tried it took them 25 minutes to come up the excuse that "Badgercare thinks you have another insurance and won't cover it." I called my insurance and this was not true, while on the phone I ask them where I could go to get a flu shot with competent people working and she said "anywhere besides Walgreen's."
