Not open. It would be nice to have updated hours as we planned to start our day having breakfast here on a Saturday morning

The farmhouse inn is no longer in busniess. Don't try to go here for breakfast.

Very clean and comfortable, but bring your own shampoo! Also your own instant coffee, unless you know how to operate the old fashioned coffee makers! I was lucky, I brought both! We drove off the ferry and it was right there, so super close, and you can walk everywhere. They got lots of cute shops and places to eat! It's right next to a museum. It's a short drive to big bay town park if you want to canoe or kayak. It's on the honor system, so put money in and go. So it's a nice place to stay, not much of a view, but quiet and close to everything, and they deliver a basket of pastries in the morning!

We booked this room for family that was coming but found out they had Covid on day they were to arrive so didn’t even use it. I knew I could not get a refund but asked if we could get a partial refund if not even for cleaning fee. Nope! Would not accommodate and owners said they were sticking to cancellation rule. This room is NOT nice in person either. I wasn’t asking for full refund - as a whole Madeline Island has gone downhill with everything for sale. It’s lost it’s vibe in my opinion and have been going for years.

We didn't stay at the inn, but we were here for a wedding reception. The food was delicious and all seemed to be homemade. Servers were great. I'd definitely come back!

We very much enjoyed our stay (2 nights); it is the epitome of a independently created, owned and managed operation in all the best ways - felt as much like a labor of love as a business (possibly because the complimentary, freshly baked scones every morning were just THAT good). I also have a small business so I am partial to businesses like this one.

Wow they have really updated. We stayed at the inn for two nights. This is our first time at the inn with the farmhouse crew (had been there about 10 years ago) The pastries delivery and the in room coffee was spot on. Excellent service. Bed was super comfy and room was very clean. The price for an island stay was impressive. We will definitely be back!

The rooms were very clean. The service..... contactless, though the lady I spoke with was very friendly. No breakfast however. We were there until 835am. No pastries were delivered. Also no responses to a request about the pastries.

Every time I stop, I look forward to seeing what the rotating options are! There's usually a smaller selection, but everything is delicious. The staff is always top notch-kind, patient, and very good with the droves of tourists. (I've been in hospitality in a tourist city for a decade - mad respect for this team!) Wonderful choices on coffees, beers, and beers with coffee in them! My photo is of the savory waffle and a breakfast beer - both excellent. I always look forward to leisurely Monday morning brunch here when I visit!

The food and drinks were excellent. The inn was as good as it can get on a small northern island with a very short tourist season. :) The beds were comfortable. It was not bad, just hard to swallow the price tag knowing what you can get on mainland for that price. Overall, I would go there again if I couldn't find something comparable less expensive. Location is prime - across from the ferry landing. Complementary pastry in the morning sweetened the deal :)

We had a pretty bad experience here. The food was overpriced. There is an automatic gratuity added to your total right when you order, before you even get any service. No sign or anything telling you that before you order.Restaurant was only half full and it took us an hour to get our food. We had to go get our own coffee. Only thing that the staff did was bring us our food.Food was ok when it finally came out. Unfortunately the options for breakfast is very limited on the island.I wouldn't recommend this place.

Absolutely disgusting food and waaaay over priced. Ditch the name and call it yuppie hipster trash shack. We were just looking for a quick reasonable bite to eat and ended up throwing $40 worth of food (two breakfast meals) in the trash
