Stopped in on the last day of the season. The tent was down, the sky was blue, the beer was cold... Awesome place.

A luxuriously appointed open air cocktail lounge with outdoor seating, 2 fireplaces, stunningly tasteful decor, 3 star Michelin quality dining, and skilled beverage artists the likes of which I could never have dreamed possible. So if you want to take your special someone to the perfect spot to propose, or a first date with your dream gal, or just meeting the future in-laws for the first time and want to really convey what a fine upstanding gentleman their daughter is currently getting plowed by, definitely bring them here. Also, a mf Cadillac holds up the stage. A CADILLAC, y'all. Not a Bruick, not a Chebby. Talk about razzle dazzle. Gobless.

The place was supposed to open at noon. We got there at 1:05. Not open, said it would open in 15 minutes. Came back at 1:30. They said maybe open in 20 minutes. We left and never got in. Workers were really snotty. Other people there waiting to get in.

Unique place serves drinks only and takes cash only. Love the atmosphere here. Must visit when at Madeline island.

Does not open at 12PM as is stated on there web site. Got there at 1:15 and was told to come back in 15 minutes. Came back at 1:30 and asked if they would be opening soon. The server was disrespectful and said it maybe be thirty minutes. We got on the fairy and left. I will not be going back. The place looked like a homeless shelter. It's a dump.

Fun atmosphere and a great Bloody Mary and Margaritas. Very unique seasonal place. They only serve snack foods. Great for hanging out with friends and people watching. The location is right in town with plenty of parking and shopping you can walk to.

We almost made it for some drinks. All five of us turned around at the “Stop line 3” sign and took our money elsewhere. Is that diesel fuel that powers the two ferries delivering the tourists and their wallets?

Bartenders only serve the people they feel like serving. If you try to get their attention and respectfully ask for a drink you will get a lecture about how they will wait on you when they have time. Very rude. On one of our visits there my wife put a tip in the tip can just as the bartender turned around, she came back a few seconds later and pointed at the top can and said " tips go in there". Very rude on more then one occasion. I want to like this bar but the bartenders ruin it.

Howdy, island adventurers! I recently had the pleasure of stumbling upon the one-of-a-kind Tom's Burned Down Cafe on Madeline Island, Wisconsin, and let me tell ya, it was a quirky experience like no other. Now, let's start with the name itself - Tom's Burned Down Cafe. Yes, you read that right. This place is literally a bar that was once burned down and then creatively rebuilt with salvaged materials, giving it a unique and eccentric charm. The atmosphere is laid-back, with a funky mishmash of decorations that'll have you scratching your head in wonder. The drinks? Well, they might not be the most sophisticated or refined, but boy, are they strong! It's the kind of place where you order a simple beer or a classic mixed drink and enjoy it for what it is. The service is as relaxed as the island life, with friendly bartenders who are always up for a chat. Now, this place isn't for everyone - if you're looking for a fancy cocktail lounge, look elsewhere. But if you're up for a quirky, offbeat bar experience that captures the true spirit of Madeline Island, then Tom's Burned Down Cafe is the spot for you. So embrace the unconventional, grab a drink, and enjoy the peculiar ambiance of this island gem. Cheers to the unexpected! ???️

This is one of the coolest bars we've ever been to, although the wife was stung by a bee in the first 30 seconds, bartenders saw what happened, and sprung into action made a baking soda mash and applied it to her sting, all is well.

Drinks and music in a very cool vibe. If you're looking for something fancy, look elsewhere. This place is just a laid back, ramshackle dive bar that hits all the right notes. Enjoy!
