Marshfield Medical Center – Ladysmith (hospital) provides residents and visitors of Rusk County and surrounding communities with outstanding health care and a friendly, close‑to‑home atmosphere. It offers emergency department and urgent care, comprehensive surgical services, cardiac rehabilitation, physical, occupational and speech therapy, digital imaging, lab and pharmacy, swing bed – transitional care, medical offices and outpatient care. The new building is better; UC and ER are in the same area down the hill, family care is upstairs, and the pharmacy is on the left side of the building. Patients report excellent care and very professional interactions with appointments, check‑in, Nurse Practitioner, Lab, Physicians, CT Scan, Ultrasound and Surgery. Staff—including the greeter, appointment staff, nursing assistant, pharmacist and doctor—receive praise for their kind, compassionate care.

I went there early in the morning because I kept losing consciousness and was unable to stand. Everyone treated me like I was making it up and that was a burden and eventually I was told I was just having an anxiety attack

For being a brand new hospital, I would not take my dog there. The doctors and nurses are literally worthless.
