BEWARE OF DEBBIE O'BRIEN: We asked Debbie O'Brien to show us a home that we found online. As we went to negotiate with the owners, her only advise was to pay full price. Luckily, we went against this and were able to negotiate a lower price ourselves. Part of our contract was that we would also receive the home entertainment system (important later). We then asked her to list our home. BIG MISTAKE. Over the next three weeks we had only 3 showings. We listed at the price she recommended. She took horrible photos with an iPad. Four times I asked when the professional photographer was coming. Lies every time. Blaming weather and manufacturing stories. Our neighbor works from home and would see her show up while we were at work. She would say a photographer came but it was just her with an iPad again. We were forced to fire her as our selling agent and go with someone else. House sold within one week. When issues arose with the appraisal of our new home, her only response is "well that's not good". No guidance. No plan moving forward. Fast forward to closing and the home entertainment system doesn't work. As we checked our options, we found out that she left that out of her revised contract. It was written into the original contract, but after she made edits to fix unrelated errors, it was left out of our final contract. I tried contacting her over 3 times through the following week and no response. I would NEVER recommend Debbie to anyone. I am thoroughly disappointed with her professionalism and integrity. I feel that she solely wanted to close the sale and does not have your best interest in mind.
