“Loved dropping by this place for a drink! Trying to find a table was a bit challenging as there was no set tables and you could walk around the first level. But a nice a place to grab a drink!”
“My husband and I stayed here a few times. Housecleaning is done every other day so we asked housekeeping to drop off some more towels and coffee pods. The bed was uncomfortable though. The rooms are clean and a decent size.”
“I must give HUGE KUDOS to the housekeeping staff and Laken at the front desk. THEY FOUND MY 1000. Cash along With drivers license, AMEX platinum, debit card in the dryer of the laundry room. It was a busy Wedding weekend arrival day. It got wrapped up in the comforter I gather. We didn’t report it because nowadays, why even try. But a surprise phone call came from Laken at the front desk. Yes I tipped them well. Thank you Geneva Inn. We will be back.”
“The room was beautiful and pretty clean for the most part. The bathroom floor was the least clean but it wasn’t terrible. Good heating and cooling in the rooms! The outside is pretty run down and out of the way of the town but other than that it’s pretty nice for what you pay for! Staff was very friendly as well!”
“Authentic speakeasy where you need a password to get into that's located below the Maxwell. We came on a Friday night and it got very busy right when it opened at 9p, so plan to come then or later as most people just had one drink then left.
It was nice to get a good cocktail and explore the small space, worth checking out if you are in the area.”

You are literally steps from the lake.
A seasonal place, different style rooms and accommodations to fit all travelers needs.
Pet friendly in a few rooms too.

The inn is surprisingly quiet, but your within walking distance of Lake activities, food and drink.

“Such a beautiful place right on the lake! We had a balcony king suite and the amenities were lovely. The front desk staff were so pleasant as well as the housekeeping staff. Very friendly. My boyfriend really enjoyed the sauna and we liked the jacuzzi as well. I loved the little kitchenette. It had everything we could possibly need for the room. And the fireplace console made everything so warm and cozy. Will definitely return!”

“The French Country Inn was an amazing place with a very interesting history. The room we had and a deluxe king size bed and top of the line shower. We really enjoyed the fireplace which made the room so warm and cozy. The on-site restaurant with a really really nice bar served breakfast as well as dinners. The breakfast were absolutely quality. The dinners had a great variety both for seafood steaks as well as pasta. The staff was more than friendly and very accommodating. I can't wait to go back!”

“We booked a two-night stay for Thanksgiving. When a winter storm warning for 8-10 inches of snow was posted, we decided to play it safe and cut our time short, calling at 9 am the second day. They were accommodating and gave us a full refund for our second night, a very nice gesture. We will be back!”
“There are pros and cons to this hotel. The pool, hot tub and kiddie pool is a big plus. Breakfast is pretty sad. Some scrambled eggs and sausage are the only hot foods, bagel or cereal otherwise. The biggest issue we've had is parking. Each night the parking lot was totally over packed, with some people double parking in the middle of the lot or in places that have clear No Parking signs. Our toilet was clogged when we checked in and it took hours for them to come fix it. Second night the tub filled up while showering and never drained.”

“Exceptional place to stay! Clean, updated room, staff was outstanding! Professional, courteous, quick check-in and very helpful. Great location, could walk to shopping, restaurants, many lake activities as well. Indoor and outdoor pools very clean and spacious. The restaurant connected to the hotel (Lake City Social) but under different management was outstanding! We had lunches and dinners there many times. Lobby area was very updated, clean and lot of areas to rest and watch the large tv in the coffee area. Easy onsite parking and easy access to our rooms. We had two great rooms. Only issue we had was that our stay was not long enough! Other than that outstanding place to stay and relax! Looking forward to another trip in a few months.”

“When we arrived the name on the door was a beautiful and pleasant look. Than when we walked in we were so amazed at how perfect the room was so clean and a feel of home away from home but in a very pleasant relaxing and romantic way. The heated floors and heated towels was such a amazing feeling. Than the 2 person hot tub waa so perfect for us. The breakfast trays was so perfect in every way...they thought of everything to make u feel relaxed. I love this place and would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a get away.i will definitely be back. Thank you so much for making my stay WARM, AMAZING AND COMFORTABLE.”
