Ollie, Sig and Steve are all amazing...actually, anyone I have ever asked for help has been - but a few days ago, they knocked it out of the park! Ollie tried his very best to help, but needed "reinforcements" and Sig came to the rescue! While the part I needed was not available, they quickly came up with a second option that worked perfectly! Service with a smile, a laugh and complete satisfaction! Shout out to Steve in paint for always being so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He is awesome! It might be a "big box" store, but the employees show that "small town" family friendliness always!

Okay, I have had some really bad customer service experiences at Home Depot, but NOT this one! Hubby and I came in looking for a particular drill bit to enable us to remove fencing. The pattern on the screws was unusual. We were lucky enough to run into Patrick, from hardware. We went on a hunt, Patrick, hubby and me, for the unicorn bit and kept striking out. Patrick found that there was a bundle of bits in clearance that had not yet been placed on the floor and kindly found the bits and brought them to us. He was so helpful and friendly. I hope management sees this review because he really exhibited great customer service. And to Patrick...the bit fit!!!

Let me start off by saying that I made a few mistakes with my purchase here, but then again, I have never had to purchase a washing machine. I will make my review more like an advice column. If you plan on purchasing a washing machine here, make sure you do all of your measurements. The sales associates do not squeeze that into their process. It is up to you to make sure that your appliance fits into the space you have for the machine. I did the measurements, but I did not know the pedestal for the machine came in 2 different sizes. I got the pedestal that was too tall and my washer did not fit under the cabinets in the laundry room. Next, once you purchase your washing machine, the delivery guys are helpful and knowledgable, but for whatever reason, their direct supervisor has them on limited time that they can provide for deliveries. If they do not deliver your product, and too much time was spent at your home figuring that out, they have their boss to answer to. Expect the delivery guys to answer your questions from their standpoint that best suits their schedule. Also understand that these guys are thrown in the middle of yourself and the person that sold you your washer. They get super irritated with the lack of communication that happens during the sale as it all falls on them and their delivery process in the end. Bless them. The most important thing I learned from the delivery guys that I wish I knew during my sale and during the two unsuccessful deliveries I have had so far: First, if they deliver your washer, and anything goes wrong and they have to take it back, just go back to your sales person and re-order the whole thing. As I mentioned, my first delivery was not a success because my washer was too tall. The delivery guys told me that they could not leave the washer with us because the washer could not be tilted due to the fact that they had to take out these rods that support the inner basket of the washer during shipping. They said that the washer had to go back to the warehouse to have it transferred properly to the shorter pedestal. Fine. My mistake. Today is the day, I was ready to do laundry in my own home and not within the moldy confines of a public washing machine. Boy was I mistaken. The first thing I noticed was that my washer had not been taken off the pedestal like the first set of delivery guys had mentioned. And the second guys delivering my washer were taking it out of Saran Wrap and 2x4s that somehow were supposed to support the washer during the time it took to bring it back to my house. They got my washer out and were like "It's scratched, do you still want the machine?" I was furious. I said yes. I wanted to buy time while they were switching out the pedestals. I called Home Depot and explained what was happening. According to the person that sold me the machine, this never happens. This person never made me aware of the option that I would have had to just re-order everything new in the first place. They asked me what I wanted to do. I said I wanted to have this machine while a new one was ordered to my house. The salesperson said no. They should have said yes after all this bs I had to put up with. Plus the seller had not done the return on the taller pedestal. I had to call to have it returned. All-in-all, I am leaving this here so that hopefully someone reads this and find it helpful. I am not trying to bash Home Depot as I feel like all of us sort of dropped the ball here. I'm still annoyed, but it's okay because I know my lack of knowledge annoyed them back. I was not a jerk about it, but I hope that it was a learning experience for the salesperson too. I would come back here in a heartbeat. I just realize that researching is very important. Times have changed and you have to be your own advocate. Sales people only sell now. That's it.

Spoke with "Rob" who is suppose to be a "Manger", which I find hard to believe based off how disrespectful and unhelpful he was. Did not resolve the situation and I am completely disgusted that Home Depot allows such people to represent their company.

Big box shopping at its best. I can shop here or pay an extra 20-30% for the local hardware store. And the selection is bigger. When I need consulting than I'm willing to pay the extra for the product

Two days; 3 fails. 1) Yesterday online inventory showed 17 units available for an item in lawn care. Drove to the store, nothing available, not even an empty box. 2) Ordered online, was to arrive tomorrow and now may not show up for a week or more. 3) went to look at shades for my outdoor screened in porch. I asked about a particular shade, not sure whether it was for outdoor use or not. The department sales person pointed out all the reasons it wasn't for outdoors. Ok, fine. What would you recommend? He didn't respond for a while, then said that he couldn't make a recommendation because some people like one thing; others like something else. That's ridiculous. When you go to a department to buy something or ask questions, don't you expect them to know the product. Isn't that what they are there for??? If he was new, he could have just said so. Honestly don't know what to think. Not sure I'll be going to HD unless it's something I already know well. Definitely won't be buying shades there.

I purchased 6 dining T Stitched chairs from Home Depot. The chair legs were all nicked down to the wood, threads on the seam of 1 chair were loose. You know over time that seam is going to split. 1 chair leg was cracked. I ordered these chairs online so I could do curbside pick up due to Covid. When I called the store to tell them about the cracked leg, I was told I had to bring the chair in. Very unhappy customer here. I really should just return the chairs!

They recently put in veteran parking. I get my 10% veterans discount. If you don't go during weekends, you won't find big crowds which is great. When you first walk in, they have hand sanitizer and offer free masks if you need one.

The sign at the door says masks are required. The last 2 times I’ve been in the store, I encountered 6 people without masks in a total of about 10 minutes. I mentioned this to an employee today. She just shook her head and said there’s nothing they can do. I do like the store and have made many purchases there, but with 2 excellent hardware stores nearby, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Friendly staff, lots of displays, clean store, and a wide variety of items. I love shopping here! Made a return today with no hassle and also purchased two new bronze finished floor lamps for a bedroom. Will be back :)

It's unacceptable that almost none of your associates are wearing masks. If I need to ask for an associate to cut chain or wire for me and they are getting closer than 6 feet to me (and multiple employees did come right up to me), they need to be wearing a mask. It's that simple. Anything else at this point is dangerous and aggressively stupid behavior.
