The team at my local Lakes Gas is great to work with - from the team in the office to team out in the field. All of them are outstanding and genuinely seem driven to make sure their customers are happy. There are a number of propane options in the Green Bay area.....do yourself a favor and give the team at Lakes Gas a try. They have earned my business.

Overall I have had solid service from Lakes Gas. I am most appreciative of their quick delivery time when my tank is low. And they do so without additional fees.Updated 3/2022 - Chuck is amazing and goes out of his way to take care of us.

Our builder used this company for the temporary tank and propane during the construction of our home. Their salesman emailed me a contract. Since our builder set this up originally I was confused as to why I was getting a contract. When I spoke with the salesman he said the contract was for the future propane and service for after the home was completed, which was a good 6 months out. Still confused as to why I would be getting a contract so early, I called our builder who explained that we could choose any propane company we wanted once the home was completed and we did not have to select Lakes Gas. Certainly not how the salesman explained things. Once we moved into our home there were 2 times I smelled gas when I was out in front of our house but my husband did not smell it so I thought it must not be gas. We decided to choose a different provider and called Lakes Gas to come and remove their temporary tank. Our builder said we would receive a refund check for whatever gas was still in that tank but the office person said differently. She said that when they come to remove the tank, any remaining gas is pumped from their tank into the tank being provided by the other company. The other company said absolutely not. Our builder also again said no, they should remove the tank with remaining propane, then refund us. The office person was adamant she was correct. Our preferred provider brought us our permanent tank & propane on Aug 5, 2022. And when our new provider unhooked Lakes' gas line they said there wasn't much pressure and there was a leak. Go figure!Lakes Gas removed their temp tank several days later. It is Sept 13 and we still have not received our refund check from Lakes Gas. A month ago they told my husband it would be quicker for them to mail the refund directly to us instead of to our builder. Yet here it is a month later and no refund. I called them again a week ago and they were going to look into this and call me back. They did not call me. I called again 4 days ago and they were going to look into it. No return call again. I called again yesterday and was told they would call Corporate as that is who cuts the checks. The woman said Corporate is "busy with contracts" and it has been taking longer because they are sending us (the home owner) the check instead of the builder. She would call me back yesterday but she did not. Today I called them again. I was transferred to someone else who told me Corporate will send us a check in 2 days, Thursday. I explained why we are dissatisfied how this has been handled. She said we will have our check soon so all is good. Their customer service is NOT "Good." Sending refunds or calling people back when they say they will apparently is low on their totem pole.

Absolutely the WORST customer service!! Don't do what they say they're going to do and then flat out call you a liar. The woman in the office is just flat out rude!!

They’re website states they’re open until 4:30 pm and at 4:06 they were already closed.
