Nick is very pushy and nosey. I used to live on the North side and every time he would wait on me he would mention the credit card(I would go in there at least once a month) I also took money out of an account and he wanted to know why I needed it. I feel it is none of their business why we need OUR money. I will never go back to this location.

I don't visit this bank often but every time I do the ATM machine is being fixed. And there tellers act like you are a burden. Now other Associated Banks you don't have this problem. Not very convenient nor is the staff friendly or professional..

I'm glad I read this. I'm a veteran and I need to know about banks like these.

Watch out for these guys! I moved to Madison last fall and selected a bank. Shortly thereafter I got an ad in the mail from Associated offering me no-fee checking AND $100 if I opened a direct deposit with them within a certain time frame. Well it seemed too good to be true but I went to them and told them I'd open an account but that I couldn't do it in their time frame. You see I'm a part-time teacher and it was December I wasn't working that month. I would begin again in January and would sign up for direct-deposit, but the university I work for: 1) only pays once a month and 2) if you apply for direct-deposit they insist on mailing you a paper check for the first month, so obviously I could physically bring in my Jan. check (which I did) but I the direct deposit wouldn't kick in until Feb. The man I who signed me up (Eric) told me, no problem, and if there were problems to call him. Well come March they started charging me fees AND didn't give me the $100. Said Eric was gone on an extended medical leave and had left no notes regarding what I just explained. They said they weren't going to make good on the $100, but might reconsider if I brought them more business. I was amazed and angry. Their word is not good, but hey they sent me a Christmas card.
