Car drove ok but it was in rough body shape inside and out. Kinda embarrassing this would be used to represent your organization. Staff at the Madison airport rental were very good.

Go here if you are extremely desperate. Otherwise, stick to Enterprise. Avis is a company that reminds me of Sears: was the big game in town for years and forgot how to take care of its customers. So I called, needing a car after the transmission in mine took a dump. First, my call goes through to some call desk in who knows what country, then, I can barely understand the guy, due to his strong foreign accent. Lastly, because I'm desperate, wants to charge me double for the rental. Avis, you better reinvent yourself and learn how to treat people as people. You are not the only game in town!

Counter staff were so helpful & friendly. They started the experience wonderfully. Car was clean and well maintained. Pick up & drop off were easy. Price was exactly as quoted, no surprises. Wonderful experience start to finish

I was told to drop my vehicle off in Superior they said I was not able to do this so I had to drop it off at the airport in Duluth and find someone to pick me up at this location the person at the counter in Duluth was very nice and was not happy with superior drop off people..

don't bother with the web sites (this is true of other companies as well) they are NOT linked to any kind of inventory control system so they will not be able to know for sure that they'll have a car for you (thanks enterprise). just use the 1-800 number and it'll work.good rates, decent staff, nice enough car ( i hate all the new cars out, so fugly so overdone), nothing bad happened. hurray.

When I picked up my rental I left my personal vehicle in the street and it got plowed in. I didn’t ask for help but the Avis people came running over and shoveled/ pushed me out. What service!!

Super friendly and helpful staff at the Darwin Road rental location in Madison. I forgot my personal garage door opener in a previous car that got rented to someone else, and they went and retrieved it from a neighboring rental location that the car was dropped off at and brought it back to the location that I had rented from. A+ service and why I will rent from Avis on Darwin Road again.
