Another nice Barriques Coffee location. Nice inside with the most sitting I think in all their 6 stores. The coffee was good and the pastries were ok. I wish they had more variety and lighter items.

The breakfast a avocado wrap thing is good and seems like a good value. This is a roomy coffee shop just off the square. Reasonably quiet and child-free.

Great options for food, proportions excellent!! Nice atmosphere options for groups, one person, inside or outside !!Suggest ordering ahead if in a hurry, as rach item is made at time of order & takes longer if multiple orders are placed!!

Service was good. The baristas are sharp and nice. The coffee tastes burnt, and I feel like I don't get enough for what I'm paying for.

I only had coffee and a chocolate bar…Coffee was very strong and good..Barista didn’t add any sugar or milk, we added it ourselves at self serve counter.Chocolate bar had a mint flavor; chocolate bar was organic, tasted great, and you can tell it was pure not filled with processed junk. But, this place ain’t cheap.Coffee $6+Chocolate Bar $6+

So this location is located right near the state capitol. I say near because other coffee shops like Collectivo, Wonderstate, and Starbucks are all located right next to the state capitol which means that all of those are really, really, really busy especially on Saturday when the farmers market is hopping. Like I previously stated this place is located near the capitol about one block away but the line gets nothing like the other coffee shops and in my humble opinion the coffee is better here. I recommend the honey lavender latte! I will say aesthetically it's not as nice looking as the others but don't let the looks fool you this place is a hidden gem!

Excellent - love the scones! Best place to get coffee and pastries in downtown Madison.

Bland drip coffee. Similar to what you might get at a gas station. The shorewood breakfast bowl tastes like a frozen tv breakfast that they transfer to a ceramic dish and top with a slice of cheese.

The location of this place is great.. Coffee was excellent-downed a cortado. With my coffee I ordered a baked oatmeal. That turned out to be an oatmeal puck- I had to tear it apart and it was burnt on the bottom. The grain bowl also not so good-but it looked really good-see photo. I had the Wingra market bowl. The Brussel sprouts were over cooked and the rice tasted like it was microwaved. I did enjoy the coffee and the atmosphere though-but will choose a different place next time I am in the area.

The food and service are both good. I will be back. I did want to mention that I've had a lot of inconsistency with the bowls that I've ordered though. I've ordered the same bowl multiple times now but I have received it both hot and cold, with two different dressings and once with and once without cheese. It makes it very confusing as to what I'm actually ordering and it is frustrating because I have dietary restrictions.

What a lovely spot. It is beautifully designed, the perfect industrial type. It is cozy, and has an upstairs. Lots of windows, and great cafe food. They have a large selection of wine which is a nice touch. It is quiet, and seems to bring in a professional crowd which is nice not having many disruptions or distractions. Thank you for the many great experiences.
