Don't go to the salon. Abby is super sweet but for some reason she never blows out your hair. Everytime she does your hair it's sooo flat, like worse than normal. I don't even style my hair and I can give it more volume with no product than how it looks when I leave her chair. And because of this I thought to myself, "hmm I need *more* layers because it's flat" so chop chop chop, now I have a ton of layers and lost a lot of hair when I should have reminded myself my hair looked flat when looking in that mirror because she made it flat.
I don't like giving bad reviews but I got this haircut on my birthday then went to my car and felt my lack of hair and just sat there and cried for a good 20 mins.

If you need makeup or perfume for your wife this is definitely the place to go, I can personally attest to the fact that if you wander around looking lost or confused someone will help you and give you some advice. If at all possible knowing exactly what you need, what it looks like, possibly even a barcode number would help as they have 17,000 versions of what I would consider to be roughly the same thing.

Rude employee-I needed to return something and she kept asking for my email. I said I don’t have an email associated with the order but I have a phone number. She said I couldn’t return my items. I showed her my receipt and again asked her to look it up with my phone number. She then went into a spiel about why I need an account and said I could make one and come back. I asked her again to try with my phone number and lo and behold she found my account and could do my return.

I arrived at around 11 a.m. I hadn't been there in a while. The worker there seemed more concerned with their conversation than helping customers. I spent 30 minutes browsing the store and ended up buying only one item out of the few I had come for. I overheard the manager telling her employees to get to work because of their loud conversation. I asked the manager twice for help, but there were too many employees and not one asked if I needed anything until I was about to leave. As I was in one of the aisles, a Spanish lady asked if I needed help and she was able to answer my questions. I hope that in the future, the employees will focus more on the customers than on their conversations.

I can’t say enough good things about Leah in the salon! I had a salon appointment booked months in advance for a wedding, but it was canceled last minute, leaving me in a complete panic. Leah kindly squeezed me in at the very last minute, saving the day! Not only was she so thoughtful and accommodating, but she also is so talented and my hair looked great. Her talent and kindness turned a stressful situation into such a positive experience, and I’m beyond grateful. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist who truly cares and delivers amazing results!

I saw a fully grown woman in this Ulta go to the Essence section, grab a mascara that was NOT a tester, proceed to put it on her lashes, then put it back on the shelf. This store needs better control over its customers. It’s not a free for all. Things need to be clearly marked as testers, especially if it’s not in a box/doesn’t have plastic or a sticker sealing it (like a mascara tube, or maybe lipglosses). This was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen done at an Ulta.
