We had some issues with some things, but Jane Zeller (or agent) helped us make it right. She showed up in person to help us get it all straightened out. There was some issues with getting things straight for when the child reaches the age of 21 there was not a notice. All in all the company does care. Another big thing is how the main office customer support being more helpful in making the payments if we need to even if the kid is over 21. Otherwise I'm satisfied with how they help to make it right.

BetterLife became my provider after the merger with National Mutual Benefit a few years ago. I haven't had to have any interactions with the company besides making premium payments. However, I find their website very not-user friendly. I test software for a living, so I know when a website is not as usable as it could be. There is no way to submit changes to address or phone number anywhere (I would have expected it to be in the Profile or something). Also, when trying to submit a contact request through their online form, it kept saying anything I put in the message free text box contained "blocked words" with no more details about what words were blocked (all I said is I needed to update my address).
I'll give them the benefit of a doubt and assume their direct customer service is good, but hopefully someone sees this and they move to improve their website.
