My car became undriveable while visiting Madison for the weekend. I dropped it off at Budd's Sunday morning, they did tests Monday afternoon, and had it fixed first thing Tuesday morning so I could drive it home for Thanksgiving. I know nothing about how much car repairs should cost but my dad says it was definitely fair, 10/10 recommend :)

I didn't know how a shop could have such a high rating until I had my car fixed there. The way they treat and speak to their customers is like night and day compared to most other shops I've gone to. No ego, no bias, just a directly communicated desire to help you get your car up and running again. I did not feel talked down to or dismissed, I felt listened to, and they went above and beyond to get my car fixed on a tight deadline during a pre-Thanksgiving rush. Omer and the rest of the team are all great and have car AND people skills.

My car battery died today- huge bummer. I called a tow person to jump it and then called Budd’s for the first time ever for a replacement battery. I was met with the absolute best customer service. Not only did they squeeze me into a tight schedule but they also did a quick check over on my car and made sure it was running as smoothly as possible. I knew I needed an oil change and they were able to get that done as well.
I spoke with one of the owners in depth about their business philosophy of repair instead of replace parts when possible and always taking care of customers. They were super helpful and nice and took the time to explain everything.
I will be going to this spot for all my car issues for the rest of my time in Madison. I felt like they really cared for their customers and I’m so glad I found them!!

I was raised by a mechanic and appreciated all the little details my Dad would do to take care of our family's vehicles. When I take my car to this place I feel like that same type of attention to detail goes into my car. I've had everything from oil changes and tire rotations to more major repairs done here, never an issue.

been here twice, once for a battery replacement that they were able to squeeze me in for at short notice and once for scheduled maintenance/repair. Excellent service both times as well as transparent and reasonable pricing for parts and labor. Very impressed and highly recommend!

I haven't dealt with more courteous mechanics before. These guys are old school (in a good way) as to how they treat customers. Highly recommend.

Great experience. UW daughter called with help dash lights problem. Budd's checked it out told her what to look out for and got her fixed up within an hour of calling them. Thank you!

We went in and got a pre purchase inspection, the mechanic personally went over everything that we could expect to have problems with. He was also very kind and knowledgeable. I would personally recommend anyone in the Madison area to go here before purchasing a used vehicle.

This shop continues to be the most honest & reasonable mechanic in Madison. I always go to them for big-ticket items because I know they won't overcharge.

I took my car to the Toyota dealership for an oil change and they did such a bad job!!. Next time I went with this guy and it was a completely different experience!!. I really appreciate his job quality and his honesty. He is one of those people that doesn’t abuse of his knowledge to overcharge you!. This is the place where every time I need to take care of my car for a repair, I go to.

Budd's Auto Repair has saved my ass on two occasions. The mechanics there go above and beyond every time, making space in their busy day to help people like me whose cars get stranded. It's rare to find such honest, good folks who deliver high-quality service at extremely reasonable prices with zero condescension. I can't recommend this place enough.

This is my neighborhood auto body and they are the best. They do an excellent job keeping my car running in top shape and (as someone who knows nothing about cars) I am so grateful for the advice and guidance they give me, I trust them 100%. Not to mention that I accidentally gave myself food poisoning the last time I dropped my car off (today 🫠) and they moved the car into my driveway for me when they were done. Not all heroes wear capes.

Budd's Auto Repair is a fantastic place to have your car taken care of. Omer, Patrick and Faysal are great to work with and are totally professional. After checking our vehicle we reviewed everything and decided what was important to be done right away and what could be done at a later date.
Totally recommend Budd's for your car needs.
