I received my physical therapy sessions at Capitol Physical therapy at University avenue in the months of April and May, 2023. Even though I liked my sessions with Doug and got back to normal for my IT band injury. I have issue with the billing department here.I forgot to cancel one of my appointments there and had a no show fees of $25, that I paid with my credit card instead of FSA card. I was again charged for no show in final bill from Capitol Physical Therapy. I called every department and Sandy, who was dealing with the bills, and everyone said I have to go to the other department. After being the ping pong ball between these two managements I decided to leave it at final payment $50 instead of $25.I asked Sandy to give me itemized bill for FSA claim, and she included $25 for no show fees. Upon asking her multiple times, she didn’t reply either. Of course I didn’t pay that amount through FSA card, but because of the combined receipt and lack of consideration from dear Sandy, I had to pay another $25 to unblock my FSA account. Final no show amount summing up to $75 now. I am really unhappy with how they dealt with finances here! Thumbs down to them, if you don’t forget to cancel your appointments here, physical therapy is good. Else God save you from the finance department! Super displeased! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend for sure!

Maddie and Doug at the University Ave. location, were awesome treating me after surgical repair of my torn Achilles Tendon. I would definitely recommend Capitol Physical Therapy at any of their locations.

Maddie is the BEST PT I have had in a long time. I actually get EXCITED to come to go workout which is something I have never done. She is not only knowledgeable about what she is doing, but actually listens and accommodates depending on the situation. I came into PT right after the hospital and had very low expectations. Never in my wildest dreams would I see myself wanting to come, work, and heal. She truly is a blessing and I would HIGHLY reccomend her.Note: Bri is also an amazing receptionist. I feel very comfortable talking to her and don't feel judged about asking silly insurance questions.

The staff is absolutely wonderful to work with from scheduling to the therapists.. I received so much help after my car accident. I would recommend Capitol PT to anyone who is having problems with pain. I had tried many treatments and what was missing was PT and dryneedling. Doug and Maddie were fantastic to work with kind, encouraging and so knowledgeable.

I have worked with both Maddie and Doug. Very knowledgeable, great communicators and a very fun atmosphere to do the hard work of rehab!

Very happy with treatment and scheduling. Maddie is an excellent therapist working with me on my good and bad days. I was able to get appointments and reschedule when needed. Also worked with Emmi. She knew when to push me to work harder. They are both a pleasure to work with during the healing process of a broken arm

Maddy is the BEST, the front desk staff are amazing, and everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. I got an appointment with zero wait and (after a few sessions) all of my back problems were solved! Maddy is an excellent listener and always took time to make sure that I was heard and that I was making progress.I hope I don't get injured again, but if I do I'm headed straight back to Capitol Physical Therapy. I can't recommend them enough.

I am 75 years old and am receiving physical therapy here for poor posture which developed over three years of pandemic depression. The PT I am receiving here is OUTSTANDING to strengthen my back and neck muscles and core. My physical therapist is truly excellent Doug who has a masters in PT and 26 years experience. I have only had PT here for two weeks and already feel marked improvement. Thank you very much!

I had the good fortune to be referred to Capital PT University Ave. fall of 2022. I have had many past opportunities to experience a variety of PT care and my experience with CPT was by far the most outstanding. It begins with Sandy's ever present friendly greeting and sorting of any billing and appointment needs. They offer flexible and convenient scheduling. This is the first time that I experienced a treatment each week with both exercises and muscle therapy. Joy was my most frequent therapist with Becca also guiding me through my care. I cannot say enough good things about them. PT can be challenging and uncomfortable, but they did an excellent job of evaluating my progress at each visit and adding or adjusting the treatment plan and my home exercise regimen. Their care is presented in a professional yet relaxed atmosphere where you feel like all the employees really like and are dedicated to their workplace. I have graduated from my care needs, but I know should I need more therapy, this is absolutely where I would want to return to. I have tried to keep this professional, but they felt more like family.I actually miss them!

I was having lots of back pain. After 2 months of PT with Becca, I feel much better; moving w.o any pain. This has really helped!

I had a great experience with Matt Vogel at capital physical therapy. I came in with a torn labrum in my left shoulder, and one month later I walked out pain free and jumped right back into lifting weights. All staff members were friendly and I highly recommend CPT!

This review is for the Capitol Physical Therapy @ 3525 University Ave, Madison, WI...Kaylie who claims to be the 'patient care coordinator' here lacks skills to hold this title! Reaching out several times to rectify a 'mess' left by a previous employee that supposedly verified insurance and benefits ALL WRONG/INCORRECT got nowhere!Kaylie would refuse to divulge the name of the business owner/management saying: '...she's too busy!'----Ridiculous!---phone number left for follow up on the ridiculous bill as a result of false verification of benefits and no one ever reached out! Please do your due diligence so as not to end up in the same situation!
