Clausen really helped me out with replacing my transmission, and they were able to get my truck in much sooner than any other local mechanics. The final price was also a little lower than any other quotes I got for the job, and Cam was easy to work with to get this all lined up. I would definitely recommend having your automotive work done at Clausen.

Part came off the bottom of the car 1 mile after an oil change and they said we must have hit something and wouldn't take ownership. Very condescending about it too

Had my 2014 Jeep Patriot towed here after the starter died on me. Was initially quoted ~$860 for a new starter ($660 for an aftermarket refurbished) as Clausen claimed it was necessary to lift the manifold to reach it.
However, I’d already done some research on the procedure and was suspicious. I called seven other mechanics and watched videos on how to change the starter in my vehicle, none of which indicated lifting the manifold was necessary, all of whom quoted it’d be ~$400-$500 for a new starter.
I called Clausen back stating my belief that lifting the manifold was unnecessary and to please verify and, if so, if they were willing to price match the other quotes. Instead, Amber at the front desk was adamant she “trusted her tech” and doubled down that if I wanted a new starter it would be $860.
So I towed my Jeep just down the road to Reece auto. They completed the job without needing to lift the manifold and charged me $390, less then half what Clausen quoted.
Long story short: whether incompetent or crooked, Clausen tried to charge me $500 to perform unnecessary work. Amber may trust their tech, but you sure as heck shouldn’t. AVOID.

I have difficulty leaving my car in the morning to be serviced and returning in the afternoon to pick it up. They always find someone to assist me. I would recommend them to anyone for the quantity of their work and their integrity.

Service through Clausens Automotive was excellent. They kept me informed every step of the way; from towing to estimate, diagnostics, pickup. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a safe vehicle to drive home. They are skilled in car repair as well as customer interactions and are up to date with computer technology. I have nothing but good things to say about the service I received from Clausens.

Clausen Automotive is honest and goes the extra mile. I had the dreaded HV battery light come on on my Prius C. I was recommended to Clausen because they do a lot of work with hybrids. All initial indications pointed to needing a new battery but they kept looking and eventually diagnosed a potential issue with the oil level. Low and behold that small fix got me back on the road! I am certain that other mechanics would not have figured out and still others would just have pushed a new battery instal. Thank you!
