This review is long overdue.
After following CocoVaa Chocolatier for over since 2022, I finally placed my order earlier this year.
I knew that eating this chocolate was going to be an experience.
However, I did not realize how great the experience would be !
From the taste, packaging to the prompt delivery to NYC,
everything matched the product.
What also struck me was the interesting background of the owner, Syovata Edari.
Syovata is a mother, activist and lawyer turned to an award -winning chocolatier.
As a Black woman owned small business owner operating in Wisconsin, the challenges that I have witnessed her and her family face, makes me angry and disappointed to say the least.
Blatant racism, lies and other forms of harassment continue to plague her impeccable business via cyber bullying.
Despite all of this, Syovata and her family continue to give outstanding product and customer service.
I urge everyone to support CocoVaa Chocolatier in every way possible as they work to expand their capacity in the upcoming months ahead. As I understand, they will re-open in September after a brier hiatus.

The creations here are otherworldly. Tasting them is an experience. From the classic chocolates to the outstanding cakes. The creativity she has in combining flavors is amazing. Highly recommend!

This place repeatedly begs for money while being closed and on extended vacations. All while getting multiple PPP loans forgiven. Stop asking for repeated GoFund me donations to support your business. If you want to have a business, offer me goods (i.e. chocolate) via a retail space that is open. Gail Ambrosius will seve you far better.

Treated myself for Mother's Day. This chocolate took me to another place AND it was a work of art. All her vegan options are just better than any chocolate I've ever had, period. Unique flavors, high quality, and just incredibly beautiful craftsmanship. Thank you!

These chocolates are amazing!!! I had them shipped to me and they were in perfect condition when I got them (not melted or mashed in anyway). They looked beautiful and tasted like no other chocolates I’ve ever had. I got the 25 piece assortment box and there are some where you get 2! There are some in the online key that weren’t included that I would have loved to try but I was happy with what I got!!
