Usually this store is busy and the lady's there are most friendly. The new guy is terrible, train him or replace him. I'm a poor person and not getting my change even though it's change hurts me. And smiling about shorting a customer is not funny. If I shorted you, I wouldn't get the item or you would call the police. I wander what would happen if I called the police on you keeping my money, when I tried to be polite about it twice. Let's find out shall we.

Toywonia checked us out at the register and couldn't have been more professional and friendly, which I really appreciated! The store felt clean, though a little understocked (very little wrapping paper?). I went out of my way to visit this particular location, as I've had other good experiences here in the past. I definitely recommend it!

I was there last Friday night and a male employee (I believe the manager) was screaming , literally screaming at a customer. The customer, an older woman, was telling him he needed to treat his employees better and not to talk down to them. He then continued to yell, saying he is overworked , having to “manage 3 f-ing stores” and the two female employees were “lazy” and “not doing their jobs”. He yelled out multiple f-bombs and other profanities to the customer who was seemingly just trying to stick up for the female employees. Keep in mind, the female employees he was yelling about were just standing there, still trying to help customers while the male was yelling how “bad” and “stupid” they were. These ladies were very, VERY nice and helpful. They were both in the front of the store and were only about 10-20ft away from the male employee yelling about them. The younger blonde seemed to be new but was doing everything she could to help her customers. The older woman, Marie, was still trying to ring up customers. Both these ladies kept trying to do their job, while having to take the berating and verbal abuse from the male employee. Not only was he unprofessional but frankly abusive in the way he yelled at the customer about his fellow employees. There were multiple customers throughout the store, he was up front and customers in the back of the store could hear him clear as day. I want to believe this male employee was just having a bad day, but the way he was speaking about these ladies and to a customer, that is completely unacceptable. If Dollar Tree continues to allow this behavior, I will no longer be a customer and I hope others do the same. The male employee needs a big reality check and should never speak to anyone, female or not, like that ever again. The fact he was being so disrespectful, a customer had to step in, is absolutely absurd. And then, to continue to yell and scream at the customer who was just trying to stand up for the ladies who seemed to be , frankly scared of the male employee. Not okay at all. Treat your employees better and treat your customers better. Your employees should feel safe going into work. Your customers should feel safe to shop at your stores. I again, want to give the biggest shout out to those female employees. You never deserve to be disrespected, especially in the way your fellow employee treated you. And if he is your manager, I hope you are able to find other jobs so you do not have to go through that abuse ever again. That male employee and dollar tree should be ashamed of themselves. These ladies were very helpful and kind and did not deserve that at all.

I enjoy my everyday shopping at the Dollar Tree on Stoughton Road. Each time is a great experience. The manager is very knowledgeable, helpful, and has great hospitality. The cashiers make sure you find everything ohk and they warm you with good greetings as you walk in and walk out. The store is managed well. It smells clean and fresh. Dollar Tree is my #1 stop shop.

Closed during hours that both online and every signage on the door says they are open. Wonder if the manager is just stealing money from the business.

I have been to this location twice and had the same person. I went today 10-12-2022 at 12:30 and the person there is not very nice. Doesn’t have nice manners. Not ver personable or pleasant. I don’t think I will go back there

This is my favorite dollar store on Madison's East Side! They are always in stock of everything, unlike most other Dollar Tree's. They regularly have new items that I don't see at other stores either; especially decor. They always have glue-on nails in stock! A variety too! Everytime I go to Dollar Tree elsewhere to buy them, it's like they must sell out immediately or something.

How can you not love the Dollar Tree? I went in for envelopes and came out with 6 other things just from the walk to find the envelopes. It's not junk either the envelopes were Mead, the batteries weren't name brand but lithium for $1.25. Even if it was junk at $1.25 I don't care I've bought junk from Walmart and Target too.
