Esther Beach Park is a small but functional beach area with great views of downtown Madison. It offers a beautiful and clean picnic area, a safe and clean playground, and neat restrooms with a drinking fountain. The park is a good place to put in kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Visitors should be careful where they step due to lots of goose poo on the sand. The water is murky at the shore but decent further out. It provides a pleasant experience with friendly people and animals, often without being very populated.
