Phishing emails every year, saying I'm on auto renew and my bank will be charged almost $500 for a year. Haven't used them in over 5 years and never will again.

The technician had me order 250 worth of parts that o didn't need. On the good side. I was able to immediately and easily return those parts.

Went in to have my screen protector replaced, had an apt but waited an hour past the time before they even acknowledged I was sitting there.When they did, said they didn't have the screen protector in stock..ended up finding out this phone didn't even have one on, it was the actual screen coming off my phone!They didn't even recognize that Geek Squad...really?

I made an appointment like a week in advance to get my phone fixed. I took the time to follow their instructions for backing up my phone, charging it, etc. When I showed up, the employee there informed me that their Samsung system has been down for a quite a while AND that they don't service my particular model of phone anyways. So the online portal apparently lets customers make appointments that they shouldn't be able to AND no one bothered to call me to inform me that they couldn't service my phone before I showed up.Extra star because the employee was apologetic and still took a quick look at my phone even though he couldn't help.

I have been trying for 2 days to put in a service call on a problem with tech problem with a television. I call the phone number for my local Geek Squad and get put on hold for sometimes 10 minutes, sometime much more. When the phone is finally answered I get connected from Best Buy to Geek Squad with another wait. I finally got someone after multiple tries and placed an order for service and was quoted a price. I was waiting for the agent to ask for a credit card they disconnected me. I started all over with the same above process trying to find out if I actually has a service order in effect or what. When connected to Geek Squad it was another wait and I was asked by an automated operator if I wanted to stay on the phone or get a call back. After entering my phone number mutliple times before it finally got my phone number and put me in line for a return phone call, I was promised a call back in less than 10 minutes. That was well over 30 minutes ago and no return call. This way of conducting business is a unproffesional and frustrating as anything I have ever dealt with.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Canceled protection plan on TV in October 2020 and they still have not given me a refund. Called almost 20 times and each time they promise it is all taken care of and then nothing happens - no refund. I call back and get the same promise over and over but no refund. Never buy a protection plan from them - you will find it does not actually cover what is most likely to go wrong with your electronics and then if you try to get a refund on the plan, they will work hard to make sure they never have to pay out the refund.
