Mykea was Extremely helpful over the phone. Very knowledgeable and carries herself very professionally. The world definitely needs more people like Mykea! :) She wasn't able to get me an appointment with her location but she took the time to set me up with another agent and even saved me a trip by making it a video call appointment! Will gladly call back next year when taxes need to be filed!

I payed almost $200 for this man to file my taxes the day of just for him to get my tax return amount wrong and never before did I have to pay upfront they used to deduct my payment from my taxes

There is a lot to say. Their services are excellent with high level of transparency, simplified explanation and no complications.I wish to also mention the go to person, Mr. John Berman - a man with patience, accommodative behavior, helpful tone and clarity in explanation. He just scores +7 stars. Since I moved into US recently and with the amount of questions that I had, he was way too kind to us. Honored to meet such a wonderful human being

The lady who prepped my taxes was very warm and friendly like she was part of my family and let me know issues if they came up and what to do very awesome I will be returning next year as I did the year before!

Tried to use online tax pro. My tax pro person disappeared and will not respond, so I tried to make an appointment in store. The online engine let me make an appointment for 6PM even though the store apparently closes at 4PM, leaving me standing at the door. This company is complete trash.

They will not answer your calls. They will not call you back when they say they will. They will claim to be "slammed". They will claim to have "system issues". Save your energy and go somewhere else.

I have used H$R Block for four years in VA and never had a problem! First time I tried to use this office in Madison-WI and I could not be more disappointed and frustrated! I scheduled an appointment in person and they moved me to an online appointment (which would be okay) but I never received the link or instructions to join the meeting. I called the office three times and they kept saying they would contact me back and nothing! They don't now what they are doing.

Nope. Been using them for many years. My new tax person didn’t bother to show up to our scheduled appointment. I waited for 30 minutes past the scheduled start time. No call, email, text to explain or reschedule. They don’t care about clients. Their customer service will probably respond with a BS “contact out ……”.

Story Time: So I had an appointment at this location the other day, and when I got there the receptionist started asking her coworkers if there was anyone available to help me. I thought this was weird, but tried to ignore it. Then she finally asked a man (CPA) who, after whispering something to her, finally said that he could help me. I made my way over to his cubicle, got settled, and started to pull out my tax forms, when at this point the front door opens and a family comes in. Apparently the father had an appointment with the CPA I was working with. The CPA told me that he couldn’t help me right then, because his appointment had arrived. Then he said that because they had a crying baby, which they did, he needed to help them first. I asked him how long it would take, and he said 20-30 minutes. I reluctantly stood up, and asked him is there someone else that can help me, and he said that he didn’t know. I asked the receptionist is there someone else that could help me and she explained that my name and appointment time went into a “pool” of appointments that any CPA could grab, but no one did... I sat in their waiting area for five minutes, then stood up and asked the receptionist to cancel me appointment. She typed on the computer, said she did, then continued to stare at her computer. I asked her if I was all set, and she yes (not I’m so sorry about the trouble, or I’ll email my boss about this messed up situation, etc.). Just yes.I felt embarrassed. And frustrated. Not because of the system, but because of the customer service. The receptionist didn’t even call anyone, or give me another option. I got passed over, then told about a janky system that I didn’t know they had....Do Not Go Here!!

It couldn't be easier. I send in my documents and all the work gets done for me. I then pay and sign.
