We ordered our wedding food and desserts from Hy-Vee and I would highly recommend! We have had so many compliments about how great it was. So happy we went with them and would not change a thing about it!

No longer recommending this place as they have replaced several checkouts to self serve which obviously eliminates the jobs that the local high school and young college kids did. They used to always have baggers, and I’ve had to bag my own the last several tomes I’ve been there. Extremely sad for a store that prides themselves on customer service! I’ll be looking for another store that does not have self check outs. I’m not employed by Hy-Vee... I’m not taking someone else’s job because they are trying to make another dollar at the expense of someone else’s job!

I ordered my daughters birthday cake from here after having great experience with my sons cake in May. Even this time I had great service and help when choosing our cake. It turned out AMAZING. Everyone was raging over how neat it looked. My daughter said it was her favorite part Of her party. The cake was very delicious as well! I will be returning for future cakes I need for my kids or other special occasions.

Love the freebies for the kiddos. It really helps getting my oldest through the store when she gets a free piece of fruit, then a cookie and then a turkey stick. Wish the organic section wasn’t secluded (should be mixed in with the rest of the store.,. Why separate it?!?? Show other people for healthy options!) bakery and butcher are great. Not too impressed by the deli. Like the fuel perks.

This restaurant is located in the front corner of a full service grocery store. Tables are always available and the food is nicely presented and reasonably priced. Coupons frequently come by mail and make this an even better deal. Our group of neighborhood men meet for breakfast monthly. On our most recent visit we were disappointed to discover that table service has been discontinued. Now you order out front, get a number and wait for your food to be delivered. While you wait you can get your own coffee, jelly for your toast, and silverware. One nice thing about the new system is the employee who takes your order, “Skip.†He is friendly and has a great sense of humor.

Would u believe an amazing brunch housed in a grocery store. Restaurant owners in Madison WI would b wise to visit. Loads of great food with made to order omelettes and eggs benedict. On top of the inviting food, the wait staff did a superb job...even gave me the senior price w/o asking...don't know if that was good or bad but appreciated.😉 Will return again and again!!

The restaurant at this location is absolutely awful. The food was incredibly over priced for the quality and taste. I ordered a chicken sandwich and found a cut off strawberry head in with my tomato, I didn't get sweet potato fries like I asked for, my fiancé's chicken Alfredo was cold and tasted cheap. My son's chicken tenders tasted old and reheated. The service was awful. Our server was mad that my fiance didn't want to eat his food and didn't even want a box to take it home. She kept passive aggressively asking if he wanted a box. I'd never eat here again.

First time we tried Hy Vee and their hot food area. They had a $6.99 Asian entrée, with egg roll and a huge drink. It was huge, enough food to share, or haul home. There were about 8 choices, we opted for the Cashew chicken, it was real good. Too much celery, but any is too much for me.They do have a $9.99 all you can eat Asian choice, but all the other former all you can eat deals are history

After getting a surprise call for 'help' to take care of our grandchildren and feed them dinner while their parents attended a late meeting, we picked up the 3 and 7 year olds and tried to think where we might take them. I needed to pick up some groceries so we realized HyVee had a grill and took them there It was our first time and it won't be our last! For $5.00 each the children had a real meal...an entree, a side and a very nice dessert. The entree they chose were pizza and mac and cheese. I tasted both. Both were excellent. My wife had a reuben with sweet potato fries($11.00) and I had and omelet ($9.00). Again both were excellent. Since our total bill was over $20 we were allowed to choose a starter (chicken wings) at no cost. The food was excellent, the waitresses were friendly (and child friendly, too) and the wine was reasonably priced at $18 per bottle. This is a wonderful surprising find. We recommend it to all parents and grandparents. And, there is a 'special' nightly, such as half price for wine on Wednesdays.

I was in Madison on a business trip, and stopped at the Hyvee in hopes of finding something for two of us to eat for dinner. We did not feel like going to a restaurant.I was pleasantly surprised to discover they have an excellent buffet of hot foods that are ready for staff to pack for you, for a take away. I chose two items from the Asian Buffet - Spicy General Chicken in a rice bowl, and the Black peper chicken with fresh zucchini also in a rice bowl. The young man who waited on me was helpful and courteous. The serving size was generous. I also visited the hot food buffet that featured comfort foods like mashed potatoes, meatloaf, fried chicken, and the young man behind the counter was also friendly and helpful.A trip to the bakery department for a big slice of tiramisu, and then a couple of cold beverages, and we were set for a very nice take away dinner. Both chicken dishes were delicious. I would choose them again. Fresh tasting, well seasoned, not too salty, and not greasy. The tiramisu was excellent - a good coffee flavoring and moist layers of cake.Reasonably priced, convenient, and freshly made food. And, you can do your grocery shopping also.
