The location of the building and inside the store are both shabby. It's hard to find what you want because the merchandise is not displayed logically. I don't have hours to hunt for things in this unorganized place, so I usually order online for pick up so the staff can do the hunting for me! I want to mention that even though the store is sort of rundown, it seems clean and the merchandise is in good shape - if you can find it.

If you don't want to deal with rude people, just order online. Michelle is astrociously rude. My pickup order didn't say it was ready yet so I thought I'd just double check. Without even giving my name Michelle said "It'll be late next week" (it was a Friday) and got very hostile. The employees will talk badly about other customers right in front of you. The store isn't stocked or open most of the time, but that isn't the employees fault. But they customer service is the worst I've seen in my entire life (as a current retail worker that says a lot).

Shelves half empty and employees more interested in talking with each other than actually helping customers. Tonight, there were the employees at the cutting counter talking and laughing while one employee was handling a line of 10 or so people at checkout (the only person doing check out). This store used to be great. Now - recommend shopping elsewhere.

Stupid that the store closes at 6 when online hours don’t reflect the changed hours, waste of time driving

Not happy. I ordered at the Zeier Rd location. They couldn't fill a curbside order. I thought I'll call Odana location to see if they would honor my order, no one would ANSWER the phone! What a disappointment

Absolutely nasty, employees are rude (Michelle) boxes blocking half an aisle, probably never cleaned should be condemned.

If you are looking for any sorts of crafts, DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. I don't know if this location is going through a re-vamp but this store is filthy, everything is out of stock, and whole aisles are blocked with boxes. There weren't even price tags on 50% of the stock, so I had no idea what the price would be.The employees here are very nice but they are so short staffed because Joann's doesn't pay their workers a liveable or even a justifable wage. Even if they had what I needed in stock, I wouldn't spend any money here as a matter of principle. The prices don't even match how little they pay their workers, you can get better prices elsewhere. Do not come.

The lady working behind the desk didn’t sell me the aerosol spray I wanted to buy because she claimed you can’t sell it to people under the age of 18. Under Wisconsin legislation, you can’t sell it to anyone under 17 and she didn’t bother to ask me if I was 17. It’s little things like this that make me lose a little respect on behalf of company to not inform their employees of the laws to selling certain products. Also it was generally just really really slow.

The website said they had 19 of the item I was looking for in stock. When I went to the store, they were completely out. When I asked a story employee for help she said they were in one of the 600 boxes in the back and she couldn't help us.

What a joke! Their official Joann website says they are open until 9pm, when you call the phone number and it TELLS YOU their hours it says the location is open until 9pm. I went to the store at 6:30 pm last night only to be greated by a handmade sign saying the hours are 10am-6pm UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE AND VOICEMAIL RECORDING THEN! What a waste of my time to drive there!

The line was so incredibly long to check out the afternoon we went. The cashier/manager that was running register had called the fabric table worker to help with the check out, but she refused. It was "Not her job" and she "Would NOT do it" The store is short staffed so I understand why you have to keep her, but I hope that once the holidays are over, you can find someone who is a much better fit for your store. This store would get a 10/5 just for the cashier/manager, but the fabric worker is only bringing the store down.

UPDATE: (10/31/23)They are running on a skeleton crew and sometimes have to close early. If you have to go to this location on the Westside, go before 5 o'clock! Mornings are better! As of October 27th 2023, due to staffing shortages the store closes at 5:00 p.m during the week. Highly recommend corporate do something about publicly changing their hours if they are going to do this. There were at least 10 cars in the parking lot at 5:06 p.m tonight and everyone was expecting the store to be open. Some customers drove a long way too. That's terrible communication. Horrible on corporates part!We all understand staffing shortages is an issue and it's not an excuse for lousy communication..It also seems Jo-Ann's corporate does not pay employees..Shame.

I have driven out here twice in two weeks now just to find that the store closed early. Corporate needs to take a long hard look in the mirror & pay their employees a living wage so they can retain employees & keep their stores open during the ADVERTISED hours. Such a shame, I used to love JoAnn’s.
