So I'm in need of a mattress today or tomorrow for unexpected company. Went to their website and found that they had 8 in stock but do to remodeling they won't be available for 2 weeks. They suggest that I order online which would I would get in 2-3 days. They said they have 8 in stock at this store but they can't get to them. Great strategy planning there. ? So I have to go to Sun Prairie to get it, I'm going to bill them for milage!

Good service overall. Keep mentoring your staff on customer service skills. Some of them make no effort at eye contact. Special nod of appreciation for great service from Ed in hardware and Blake in flooring.

If I could go lower than one star I would. I went to my local menards looking to replace a ceiling fan that I had broken and the individual who helped me first had walked me to a different department and asked a sales lady her opinion to which she said "I am not sure that is your department" followed by the person helping me saying "looks like you wrecked this, maybe have your husband fix it and make it his concern" in a tone that suggested I could not fix this on my own. I went to this store because I had planned to fix it on my own, not be told that I need someone else to fix it for me.

I bought a patio set for my wife for mother's day. Last week, we had a bad storm, and severe rust appeared both inside and outside the couch , and ended up staining our patio as rusted water came out of the set. The patio was just installed (new pavers). Menards took the patio set back, but refused to credit my card. The investment was almost $700 and I was 16 days past their 90-day return window; so they insisted only a store credit was possible. I argued with the assistant manager without a positive result. I then went to their customer service department at their corporate headquarters, giving them pictures of the rust and my damaged patio. Unfortunately, their corporate customer service department stood by their store-credit-only policy. At this point, I would strongly discourage anyone from buying Menards patio sets. A good quality patio set should not show severe rust after only 3 months. Menards sources their own sets from Asia and obviously do not have a strong quality control system operating there. Having done business in China for many years, I know exactly what was done incorrectly at the factory to result in all of the rust.

This location is outstanding as far as employees. I interacted with several employees and they were so helpful. I usually go to the one in SP but the service at this west side one was excellent and they had the clearance item I was looking for. I have a foot injury so it's possible they saw me limping and that's why they were so helpful but regardless.... A+ experience.

went to the sun prairie location and bought some outdoor lights that were defective out of the box. returned them to the west side location on my way to church and the lady at the front desk essentially accused me of stealing because it was “odd” that i didn’t take them back to sun prairie or have the receipt on me at the time. found this to be very rude and extremely poor customer service. especially when all I wanted to do was exchange them

1045am on 7.1. Girl behind the help desk counter has no idea what she is doing. We needed to have a pick up order and she was more worried what was happening on her phone than helping customers. Told us to go to back of the store, someone else had to help us to tell us to go outside.

Multiple times I have confirmed inventories in the lumber yard only to find out they don't actually have what is in the inventory. By the time you find somebody in the yard to go, look to see where the overstock is, they look around for 10 minutes and then you have to go back in and return it because you weren't able to pick it up anyways, it's an hour ordeal. Monona store and Sun Prairie store have been far superior every trip.
