My money is not good enough for Old National Bank. The bank off Mineral Point had an empty parking lot and no customers at the drive thru (I now understand why after my interaction). I needed a crisp bill for a sympathy card and a roll of quarters. Since I was on my lunch break, I thought I would go to the bank my company used because it was nearby. I pulled up to the drive thru and asked for a roll of quarters and crisp bill and had my money in hand for the exchange and the person at the window asked if I had an account with them. I said I did not and he said they would not provide any services for non-customers. He just sat there and the person behind him sat on her chair and they both just stared at me. Unbelievable.

Once again the Big Bank syndrome takes over ! It's all about making money. I had a line of credit for 10 yrs. The other day I tried to use it and was informed it expired last month. I then tried to re-new it and was informed it would cost me additional fees of $500. Oh by the way, If I would have come in before Sept 21, we could have renewed this and waved the fees. Just what I wanted to hear. I then tried to call the help line of Old National and got a call center that couldn't do anything except direct me back to the bank. Imagine that! I've had all of my loans and accounts with Anchor/ now Old National for 40+ years and that's the kind of customer service i get. Call Centers and Cold shoulders !!! If I were running the branch, I'd have notified the customer before any service was expiring or would cost them additional fees and see if we could do something about the problem. Didn't happen !! Looks like they lost a 40 year customer !!! Bud G

Ever since Anchor changed to Old National, it has been messy. ** "We do things differently than Anchor"** is their most often used statement. When they first changed, I saw bank tellers crying and they were overwhelmed with angry customers. Fee's and bad customer service is the "new" Old National - I miss the friendly Anchor reps who remember what it is like to be a customer. Needless to say, I finally changed banks.
