I'm sick of this store. Dirty, and overpriced store. The only grocery store on the north side of Madison and it sucks. The one on the west side and Middleton is really nice. I guess they don't care about Madison's north side.North side deserves better boycott this store

Worst grocery store ever! Terrible customer service. Frequently has expired items on the shelf. Evening management stands around and offers zero help. Cashier, there's never more than one, will act like they are on break and refuse to check you out (while manager stands there watching). I'm hoping this store closes, so the neighborhood can get something better. Was forced to add a star but they don't even deserve that one.

I have recently started using Pick and Save pharmacy after having too many issues with Walgreens. How refreshing it is to talk to pleasant, clean and courteous staff! I have had 3 separate prescriptions filled recently. 2 were new to me and I was given all the information on how to take the meds, possible side effects, etc.The staff does not talk down to you or use a lot of technical jargon that isn't helpful to a layperson. They are polite, engaging and very professional.

staff immediately began using "he" pronouns upon seeing a prescription for testosterone blockers despite the account being listed as female under a feminine name

Wow, astonishingly unhelpful and professional staff. I had two prescriptions to fill that seem to vary in cost by over a $1000 dollars depending on the pharmacy. The staff member I spoke to would not run the pricing and told me to just look it up on my phone. I told her that I have already done that and am calling to confirm as the last place I called had a discrepancy in pricing between my app and their app by over $50. She responded "they can do whatever they want but I'm not going to. They charge us for every look up."

After moving to Madison 5 years ago I needed to choose a new pharmacy. I've always required a lot of prescriptions, so it's very important to me to have a knowledgeable and helpful pharmacy staff. A dear friend and roomate suggested Pick 'n Save. That was the best advice she ever gave me! Kong, Steven and Karalee are the most helpful pharmacists I've ever had. They're knowledge of medications and the way they explain how to use them, making sure you understand any adverse side effects or interactions is amazing. They REALLY care about their customers and are so kind, it actually is fun to go the pharmacy! They are the best!! We are blessed to have them along with all the other frontline workers risking their health to serve us during this awful pandemic. God bless all of them!

This is the worst grocery store I've ever been to. They advertise buy one get one free, when I went home I looked at receipt and they charged me for both. The cashier said he used a card to give me reduced pricing, that clearly didn't happen. I ended up buying nine things based on promotions, totaling over $40, that I thought would be free or reduced price. I paid for all of them. I don't trust this place, and will never go back.

Lost my insurance due to Covid. This pharmacy seems to be cheapest when purchasing out of pocket. Friendly staff too.

Pick n' Save at Shopko Dr is completely failing in protecting their staff members and clients during this pandemic of COVID 19. I was there last Saturday afternoon around 3 pm and panicked to see staff members without masks and gloves all over the place. There was no wiping tissues to sanitize baskets instead they left a rag which I did not dare to touch it. During peak hours they MUST have someone controlling access to the store in order to protect those inside of it. As a frequent customer of this store and the University Avenue too, I feel extremely disappointed to see this company does not care about us nor about their staff members. Really sad...

Worthless people. Ordered grocery delivery. Waited 5 days for the scheduled time. Left instructions for no substitutions except as noted. Picker texted many items that were no substitution, but he made his own substitutions any way. I let that proceed for many items, but finally asked him to stop making substitutions. At that point, I was giving as much slack as possible. Then he texted and said his battery had died (I thought it was his car battery.) I asked him where he was, in the grocery store parking lot. I told him I would come to him, which I did. When I got there, he said it was the battery in his cell phone that was weak and he couldn't finish picking my order. He had tried to contact Instacart, but it was unable. He said he hadn't checked out, so he didn't think there would be a bill. I called the store and spoke to Darian. Worthless person. I ordered through the PicknSave store website but the store manager takes the position that, "oh, its up to Instacart, I have no responsibility". Somebody at PicknSave decided to contract with Instacart, but now, since Darian hadn't signed the contract personally, PicknSave has NO RESPONSIBILITY. I asked who does their "grocery pick up at the curb". He says that's their own employees. I asked how long I'd have to wait for a pickup order (turns out the answer is till hell freezes over"). He said about 3 or 4 days. I asked if, since I had already waited 5 days, if I could get an order before that time. Nope, you have to go to the end of the line. "But if there is anything I can do to help you, let me know". Worthless I got on the store website, created an order for about 45 items, about half of what I had for delivery, at which point you are supposed to select a pickup slot, guess what. No slots available. Very poorly handled. Very Poorly indeed. I can understand that there are problems in these times, what I can't deal with is slimey managers saying, "Sorry, I have no responsibility, I can't get you an earlier time slot" (in fact I can't get a time slot at all). Very poorly handled. Very Poorly indeed

1) When an item runs out, stockers place overflow of other items in that space on the shelf, then when they get more of the out-of-stock item in the store, they just stuff it into another space where it will fit. I was in produce today, and there was no price showing for an item I wanted, so I asked for help from the stocker. She pointed at the space where the item actually belonged and said "they just put something else where that belongs". She did not offer an apology for

Went to pick and save today. The bagger was very rude, did not load our groceries in our cart. White make with thinned hair and glasses. But loaded the two people in front of us (white people) and the ones behind us (also white). Left them right on the end of the counter. Several bags. Asked the manager Josh if they load your groceries in the cart and he acted as if he couldn’t understand my question. He was so very rude. Tried talking down to me and dismissing me very rudely

So the most messed up thing just happened at the Pick N Save on Shopko Dr in Madison. There was a man in front of me at the checkout, when he tried to pay his card was declined. He said he was going out to his car to get a different card, but I stepped where I could see his total (unfortunately I don’t have a lot of money myself so I wanted to see his total) it was under $20 so I said I would pay for it. The manager on duty told me the store doesn’t allow for customers to pay for other customers... I have never heard of such a thing. But they ask you to donate to people in need, how about let me donate to the person in need right in front of me. When I got outside I couldn’t find the guy... what kind of culture do we live in where we can’t help each other out? I feel terrible. And now I guess I will no longer be shopping at Pick N Save.

A little frustrating because fruit is routinely not the same price at the checkout as it is shown in the display. Just tonight I got some apples shown at $1.29/pound in the produce section. When I did the self check-out it was charged at $1.99/pound. This happens regularly. I don't know what the issue is.
