Pizza is fresh and handmade, I oftentimes arrive to find them removing it from the oven. The service is a bit on the slower side, so order at least 30-40 minutes in advance. It's quite busy, especially on Friday nights but takeout is easy. The pizza is decent, but at times slightly burnt on one side. 9/10 it's good

Are you locating for the best pizza in Madison? Well. You found it. The hot honey pizza is the only thing I'd get here but that one item is worth the 5 star review in my opinion.Parking: No parking lot. Only street parking available

The gluten free crusts were really good! We ordered on yelp and pick up was a breeze.

Pizza Brutta is a combination of booth seating pizza joint & Chipotle style ordering. I ordered a Nostrano (basil, sausage & roasted red peppers) with red onions added. I also ordered a Caesar salad & a glass of the Tuscan red wine to enjoy during the wait. I took my table card number & we settled into a booth. The wine was, surprisingly, excellent. The salad was brought to our table quickly and the silken dressing enveloped each leaf equally with a couple slices of toasted pizza dough atop (in lieu of croutons). Within 8 minutes or so our pizzas arrived together. The edge crust was beautifully blistered in Brutta’s woodbrick oven with a very thin crust on which a a well balanced grouping of the toppings merged. The pies are personal size and are more than enough for an individual. As a born & raised denizen of New York City…Pizza Brutta is an absolute winner! I’m so happy to know when I visit & want reliable old school pizza…I’ve got PIZZA BRUTTA!

Assured us they could make a dairy free safe pizza but nope, son had an allergic reaction. If you're not going to take allergies seriously then please don't assure people you do - it could have deadly consequences.

Best pizza place in Madison! My fiancé and I moved here a little over a year ago and fell in love with this place. We don’t eat out much, but we make a point of coming to eat here as often as we can afford to. Very fresh ingredients. Fast service but it does get extremely busy for dinner on the weekends and seating can become limited. Love how the pizzas are the perfect size to have a whole one to yourself without needing a to-go box.

Pizza brutta is an exceptional pizzeria. Their pizza always comes out very fast and their staff is very nice. I've never had a bad experience here and I've been here a few times. Overall a very chill place and good food I recommend the margarita pizza. If you're around, you should definitely try.

Love it! We just love it! The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere, being near the heart of the UW campus, was upbeat. It had that 'collegy' energy about the place. Still, a place to bring the kids for pizza. Each pizza is about personal pizza about 12" in diameter. You just can't get any better than wood-fired pizzas. Thin, crunchy crust that has the char from the pizza oven. The blend of sauce and cheese gives a good balance to each slice. The sausage is crumbled on top: the way it should be. And it's not too spicy. Just don't order 'extra sauce.' It makes the pizza a bit too runny in the middle. You actually don't need it. The have a lot of pizza varieties. So, I'll just have to keep going back again and again. Yay! Yum!!

We love Pizza Brutta. My daughter has recently been taking a class across the street so we've been picking up dinner here weekly for the last month. My kiddo has sensory issues related to food textures. I added some notes to our order for her bambino pizza and it seems they are always very attentive to making sure not to use too much sauce for her. We appreciate that and everything is really delicious each week.Kid-friendliness: Attentive to needs of neurodivergent kid with food sensory issues.

Gelato was good but for $4 a scoop, I received very tiny portions for my friends and I, no more than 2 inches across. $12 for 3 tiny scoops. In general, at most places, a scoop is certainly bigger than a single bite...this was a little silly. Would help to specify how small the portion size is on the online ordering menu, or please make the portion larger.
