The service department has been excellent whenever I went in for regular maintenance during the past 8 years. Unfortunately I had a bad experience when trying to test drive a new car recently. I got an email invitation from Mazda to test drive the CX-90 PHEV, which I had been looking forward to for months. But a couple hours before my scheduled time, I got a phone call from Keith asking if I had a car to trade in. When I said that I wasn't sure if I was ready to trade in my CX-5 yet, he told me that I wouldn't be making good use of my time to come in for the test drive, so I cancelled my appointment. A few weeks later I ended up trading in my CX-5 to Nissan instead, and I'm happy with my choice, especially with having an EV now, which Mazda doesn't offer.

Lackluster experience. Kelley blue book offer was $1,947 and I was completely honest about the vehicle’s deficiencies. I was offered $1,500 because the so-called “manager” said so. I should’ve been offered an opportunity to sit down with said “manager” but never was. Overall I got the impression that they’re just another scummy, money-grubbing dealership.

Our experience at Russ Darrow Mazda was pleasant and professional. Tim Faber was our sales person. Tim is a consultative seller. He took the time to ask questions so he could understand our needs. He answered our many questions and we test drove several vehicles (4-6). I would buy from Tim again.

Bought a car on July 1st and while finishing the paperwork the detailer busted my tail light and put some deep scratches in it. I was dumb enough to agree to still keep the car and have them fix it.Took them 2 weeks to get the car to the body shop, and an additional 2 weeks to fix the car. Got absolutely no information from my salesman, who eventually just started ignoring my texts and emails. They had their money and therefore did not care anymore. I really think I put up with a lot more than a rational person would have in this situation.Would absolutely NOT recommend this dealership to anyone.

Don't be fooled by their flashy videos of service and sales pitches, they're the same as every other stealer-ship. We bought a 2020 CX5 last summer at already inflated prices. We paid MSRP on a 2 year old leased vehicle, for which they couldn't be bothered to repair the warped brake rotors, popped out ultrasonic sensor, or put tires with more than 3 months of life in them. Nor did they honor the expensive monthly warranty the sales guy talked us into for any of these repairs, including the ventilated seats stopping working this summer. Mazda's are great cars, if you see a deal from these clowns, take it but get your service done by real mechanics and not the ASE part swappers who can't be bothered to so much as test drive the vehicle before telling you something isn't a problem.

They can say any thing on phone to let you come and deny anything after you come. I called for a car trade in, the sales person ask me to come for a car appraisal and said the offer is at least the KBB offered. After I come he just reduced 2000 from he promised. When I asked what he said on phone he just say only if you bring title to trade today. But when I ask if I bring the title will you offer the price. He just refused to talk. Full of lie and nonsense to nonrepect here. Garbage dealer. see their reply, they did not even mention their promised unconditional minimum price on the phone, they just keep saying they have the right to offer any price, but never talk the truth they can make any lie on the phone before you come.

Friendly staff and fast turn around, but there estimate was far less than the actual charge and I ended up almost not being able to pay for the repair. Also wish I could have talked to the mechanic rather than through a representative. I would prefer to understand all the issues and severaty rather than just a quick one sided video. Over all good work, but got the feeling I wasn't their desired clientele

Super unhelpful staff. I came in asking about an incentive listed in detail on the website, and neither the sales staff, manager, or financial team knew anything about the specials currently posted on their website. It was complete false advertising riddled with hidden fees (EVEN AFTER READING THE FINE PRINT) and caused me and their own staff to waste time. Really wanted a CX5 as my first lease, but will not be going back.

My girlfriend and I had a not-so-good experience the first time around which consisted of trying to pressure/guilt us into buying a brand new car that day, even after we specifically stating we were there to test drive and eventually will be leasing in the future.HOWEVER, the next go-around was MUCH better. Jesse was fantastic! Efficient, helped us out right away, gave us all the answers we needed to make an informed decision, didn't waste our time, and did not pressure us at all. Ultimately we left with a brand new 2023 CX-5 carbon edition! This is how I wish all auto salesmen would treat young females.

Overall my experience was wonderful! Everybody was very friendly (and not pushy). I had lots of questions and they didn’t hesitate to answer them. Jesse was a great person to buy my first new car from. Would highly recommend!

Speaking to used car sales, I must caution anyone who is interested in purchasing a car from this group. They are profoundly unprofessional, they WILL tack on additional charges as you're nearing the end of a sale ($500 for VIN etching which costs no more than $100 from a dealer and does NOT save you on insurance despite what they'll tell you), and they are extremely lacking in terms of communication. The manager is mysteriously always in meetings and does not return phone calls, and when attempting to get our refundable deposit back, it was radio silence from Tim our sales agent despite multiple efforts to contact him. I would seriously discourage anyone from using this group for used car sales unfortunately.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST customer service EVER! Two separate occasions (each approximately 6 month apart.) I attempted to inquire about a vehicle I saw online - only to NEVER receive a call back from Kyle "the sales person" I was given to via voicemail. I would try at different times during the day to catch him - truly I don't think he exists.Additionally, I continue to receive texts and generic emails from the dealership about how they can get me into a new car.I've since asked to be removed from all of their correspondence - they can't even seem to make that happen. Daily - multiple times a day I'm getting texts....every two days I get emails.Not sure there is a brain cell amongst any of them!!! I only ranked them one-star because Google won't let it go starless!

I really can't say enough about the sales team at Russ Darrow. I've bought a few cars now from a few different dealerships and this has been the best experience by far. The staff really, genuinely cares their customers' happiness.
