Staff were rude and did not show investment in the level of service they provided. I would have filed a formal complaint, but couldn’t get through to anyone when I called. I will not be returning to Safelite in the future.

Had a great experience with Kellen. He phoned in the morning asking if he could push back the appointment which worked out because I was ill. When he arrived I stepped out and gestured to my keys. He took care of everything and returned my keys when completed. Great technician if you can be flexible.

Good luck contacting any department or getting a hold of anyone in this company if you have an issue. It is an utter nightmare of phone looping and shut off calls. Oh and their basic responses to all questions is use their "website" which is also total trash and very confusing. DO A BETTER JOB!

I hate to play the race card, and never have, but I sat there and listened to the techs give specifics about everyone's vehicle.... I asked them to look into specific issues, they did no such thing, then threw my wipers on any kind of way, which made me have to go back to them to be repaired! Ever again!!!

Edit: this has now dragged on for nearly a month only for them to find the replacement had been misaligned when installed. Don't bother with these people.You get what you pay for. While they may have the best prices, both my sides of the molding around my newly replaced windshield peeled away, one side within just hours of the "repair", the other side within days.In addition, they offered an "early bird" offer to be the first customer serviced in the day which I opted for. They said the original window was 8 to 12 in the morning. The representative (hi Lauren) arrived at 9:15 so so much for that.Trying to reach an actual human to resolve the follow up issues was also a nightmare, first dealing with a bunch of automated messages and then constantly being bounced around between locations (Janesville and Madison) as to who had what parts when and who I was actually dealing with.Save your time and sanity dealing with these people and just go somewhere else.

Scheduling my appointment online and having it connect to my car insurance's claim was very easy - no complaints there. However the actual repair (which was just filling one minor crack) took 1 hour 45 minutes when I was told it would take 30 - 45 minutes, so ended up waiting on the waiting room an extra hour than the high end estimate. They said they were short staffed, that's fine, then just actually tell me how long it'll take rather than giving me your usual low estimate. Always under-promise and over-deliver. Repair itself seems fine (will update if something happens

They refused to replace my windshield after I wasted time money and gas on getting the appointment set up, and during my inquiry of what I would need to do for them to fix it, the technician became angry, struck my vehicle, got in my face and followed me around until I left and while I was going out the front door I tried to shut it behind me to keep him from following me, the technician broke the glass on the front door trying to open it and pursue me and then proceeded to try and blame me for the damage. Rediculous, hostile, and unprofessional.

I would avoid scheduling with this location at all costs.Safelite has completely failed me. I set up an appointment for them to come out and seal a less than 3/4” chip in my windshield. I retrieved my keys after they were finished because all seemed ok. 5 hours later I head out to my car and I see that the chip had spread to over 3” in diameter and a second chip right above the original one had started. 3 weeks later, the original chip has spidered out three different ways and is now about almost a foot in diameter. Customer service is 0 help. All I got when I called was a snarky man who had told me it’s considered to be a faulty repair and now I’ll need my entire windshield replaced. Quoted me out at $1600 not including what I’ll have to be paying my dealership / insurance for my eyesight realignment.Glass Works of Wisconsin has tremendously better customer service and is about a 3rd of the price, too.

reply to Safelite reply:I realize you offer a warranty, but this should have been done as part of the original service.With rain forecast, you could not get me in, and i could not get to work, so I had to do your companies work myself. I would be happy if you offer to reimburse me for the time I had to spend to fix what the tech should have done in the first place.
